Buddy taping sword weaver in PvP

Was just wondering and theorycrafting for raid then come to think about potential PvP duos that tries to improve on current situation where weaver sword is so chunky on CDs and damage.Is it possible for sword/dagger ele to have a pocket mender chrono for quickness/alacrity share?Ah the memes, finally ele get to be the dominant side will be a good sight to behold :P

Anyways just thinking whether players can make up the weird flow in sword via quickness and alacrity. Now that alacrity can be shared and scourge corruption took a heavy hit, maybe having this boon oriented duo is able to help ele shine a bit more? If mesmer is good he can probably maintain around 50%-75% quickness uptime on weaver with that utility setup but only 25%-50% alacrity uptime. Combine that with arcane maybe weaver is able to quickly swap to desirable skills?

Anyone else wanna theorycraft a combo where weaver gets to shine in terms of damage? ;)

Ele isnt dominant at all in spvp and if mesmer's only role is to keep quickness/alacrity on ele, it's a waste of slot. Ele doesnt do much damage to make those buffs worth it. On the other hand, chrono's support is rather static and weaver has to kite constantly.

Sword weaver is nowhere near shining when it comes to damage.

The only place where ele would benefit from quickness/alacrity (besides pve) would be in wvw zergs, on a staff.

You'd have to try it in WvW and I could see it being a fun roaming thing to do with a friend. But in spvp there are much more useful things for a mesmer to be doing that can actually influence the match.
