Improve the skimmer

What about this:We are now able to mount the skimmer underwater. When we do so, the skimmer will shoot towards the surface rapidly and surface us.No underwater control etc, just some quick resurfacing if we mount it underwater :)

That would encourage people to go underwater. ANet doesn't seem to want that any more.(edit: I like the idea, though.)

Yeah, but there still are a lot of places where we have to go underwater. :)Also, underwater combat isn't as bad as ppl make it. Bind some keys for up/down and it becomes a walk in the park :)

That means less time underwater. I'm all for it.

Action cam mode actually makes underwater so much easier, at least for me. I have spacebar bound for up, and action cam lets me go anywhere else easily, but ymmv.(I also agree with you, though. That sounds like it would be an awesome addition to the skimmer’s utility)

That's such a cool idea. I just saw a skimmer... er, I mean manta ray, leap out of the water in a David Attenborough nature special! It was awesome. I'd dive underwater repeatedly just to mount the skimmer and watch it leap out of the water!

It used to be that if you were on your skimmer and teleported to an underwater waypoint you would get shot up to the surface but that seems to have been fixed last time I tried.

Whaaaaaat, I didn't know. Pls Anet undo it. And make it permanent for underwater skimmer mounting
