Give autoattack on siege weapons (or at least rams)

Because there is nothing interesting in spamming the same button for 3 minutes. And I dont think there could be a lot of abuse on autoattacking with a ram ...

i can see it on a ram just not on ACs. people would just afk on an AC. would be retarded.

True dat, rams need some indeed. You could macro it tho as long as you press 2 yourself so its according to 1 button - 1 interaction rule.

We use mostly golems on upgraded keeps, the price is pretty low right now and you dont have to ram for ages.

Wait so no one else just leaves their finger on the button until #2 comes off CD? Or if you really want to go lazy mode just leave a small paperweight on the #1 key and call it a day.

I think you missed the part where he wants to do more than press the same button for 3min. His very first sentence in a 2 sentence post.

Build those field rams!

Any siege attack that is not an AoE (no red circle) can be made auto by Ctrl -> Rclicking the icon.

The main abuse is that people target objectives from a safe (or safe-ish) location, such as Southwest hills, and just keep attacking to maintain tick. It can be annoying enough when people do that now without autoattack.

Plus, I think if you're on siege, you really should have to pay attention rather than let the game play for you. If it's boring for someone, there are plenty of other people willing to take over.

Would love a way to set a certain amount of treb charge, and let it autocast at that charge power. Same thing for catas. Then rams, ballistas, and the other sieges without a charge can just do the usual "auto attack" we're all used to.

Charging a treb, cata, or any other siege weapon is part of the skill in using one. Automating this would make siege even less skillful to use.
