Special effects on new horns with Total Makeover kit / Olmakhan Helm?

I just got Olmakhan shoulders from the PvP track. I'm asking, there is a way to obtain the Olmakhan helm to complete the look? Like special achivements or something like that?Or we just have to wait the next living episode? Here is the helm:https://imgur.com/a/s247M

Also I found something very interesting. When changing gender with a makeover kit, certain horns on male aquire special effects on female, and vice versa. Which helm is that? A number of the Olmakhan are wearing the helm that you get from the Renegade elite spec.

I did not mean the renegade helmet. I was looking for the helmet worn by the Olmakhan leaders. Check NPC's like Elder Yowen or Elder Gawr :)

It looks like a sabretooth tiger skull. I want it too!!!

No, I mean the weird effect happening when you swap sex.

I actually didn't notice the unique helmet skin until now. I like it. Hopefully we'll be given a method to unlock it, assuming one doesn't already exist.

The NPC only horns you can acquire by switching sex ARE kept if you do it with a total makeover kit (which is the only way to do it anyway)I got those horns with the things hanging on them on my male charr now!

I don't get your question xD Anyway, you can still change horns after you swap gender (like usually), but THE ONLY WAY to get those two special horns is the "gender swap". Then, if you decide to finalize your character customization with the special horns, those ones will remain on your character (so it's not a visual bug)

Just tried the trick on my olmakhan charr (well, the charr i made to be an olmakhan coz i love them) and it worked. Only downside is you can't resize the horns, but you can do this even just by changing the gender back & forth in the makeover kit.

Would this be considered a banable offence? That's really the only thing holding me back from doing it.

Is there no other way to achieve this? It's a joke that you have to invest in two Total Makeover Kits to make it happen...

You are not exploiting the game in any way and the only potential benefit you could gain from this is just self satisfaction in your own appearance. You are not manipulating the market, affecting anyone else in gw2, or using any potentially mischievous methods to achieve something that could put you ahead. I would be extremely surprised if Anet took action against something like this when there are large offenses that go unpunished and at the absolute worst I could maybe see them reverting them back but even that sounds highly unlikely so I wouldn't worry friend.

Why do you need to use 2 Total Makeover Kits? Unless, of course, you are making-over 2 different characters.

Is there any chance Anet will patch this bug?

I hope they don't but I certainly don't want to do this and have the kit wasted in the next update.

is it for female charr only??

One set of horns is for female Charr, a different set of horns is for male Charr.

If you already have a female charr for instance and you want to give her the new horns to do so you would have to first change her to make with one kit then back to female with a second. If you were making a new character or didn't care about the arc change it would only take one because you could make the new character the opposite race or just not swap back if you didn't care that your charr was now a different sex (though I feel most people would care).

Not true. My character was already female, and I have the new female horns. You can swap genders as many times as you like with the one Makeover Kit.
Swap to male, set the male horns that enable the new horns on female, swap back, new horns appear on existing female. Nothing is permanent until you choose the final iteration.
