raptor kills the game

After mounting a raptor in the starting instance, the game is permanently disconnected. You don't lose connection to the server, the game just ignores all input. You can walk around, and dismount, but from that moment on, the game acts as if you don't exist. You're not returned to the character select, but there's nothing you can do but just shut down the game and reboot. The problem is currently persisting (not a onetime issue). Pressing skills will cause the skills to blink (waiting for activation). If it's any help, I can still chat with people.
