what happened to the revenant axe/sword skins?

I don't know if people still remember but quite a while back (after HoT release), some axe/sword and I think staff skins were "leaked". The theme was clearly revenant oriented, and they had a 3d model and everything. There was talk to add them to the game at some point but nothing came of that. It would be nice to release them at some point, since they basically "exist" already.

EDIT: the skins are on dulfy btw, one of them is called mistbreaker axe

Aren't those the ones that got, uh, lost?

nope, if you google "mistbreaker gw 2" the wiki link will show the weapon, and it was never available

Oh, it says they were given to Revenants during BETA testing.

Jupp. Devs stated that they will implement it in the game. This statement is 1.5 years old if i recall correctly. Would be nice if they finally will get the time to do so. But not on my priority list.

I really hope they bring them back. If Tempests can have an entire set of skins for weapons at the BL Weapons Specialist, why not Rev's?

I remember those from Beta! Yeah, they were pretty smecksy. I would love to see them get implemented finally.

Note: the sword skin is remarkably similar to the Warpblade (Weaver ascended wep)

Would be very interested to see the mace/hammer/axe return but as mentioned in another thread by a dev, the assets were "lost" and they have no way of recovering apparently. Perhaps there is a small chance that they may re-create and make available via BLC or gem store.

Edit: found the sword link, however there is no sign of the staff option (if there was one)

Anet lost them at least that was the excuse they gave us on the Old forums.
