Points of Interest and Hearts

It goes with out saying that GW2 has a massive map with all sorts of POIs and Hearts how ever most of it goes untouched in the Personal Story, is there actual Lore regarding these areas to explain why they are ao important to notate on the map, are their any youtubers that go into depth other than Wooden Potatoes who hasn't covered everything as far as I know?

POIs are mostly for important sites in guild wars 1. Here is That Shaman’s gw/gw2 overlay which shows the old gw1 maps on top of gw2 maps. As you can see many POIs are in the gw1 maps and often show where something was in that game. For example this POI in Frostgorge, Krok’s Hollow. It shows the site of a Dwarven village in the other game. The ones on gw2 maps but outside the gw1 maps may have been added to give those maps POIs also.

I don’t know about Hearts, those were added late in development and probably don't have much lore background.

If I had the Rig, Editing Know How, and Personality I'd a record a series called A Historical Tour of Tyria where at each POI I'd recall the events that transpired and find GW1 clips to edit in (if I do it drunk we could call it Drunk Tyria History like that show on Comedy Central.
