the short answer?they've just given up when they were halfway through the skills

that is also the reason why bird swoop travels barely 400y instead of 1200or canine leaps and knockdowns travel 130y instead of 400the list goes on

dev: i'm sick and tired of adding new player skills for every pet skill.-can't be bothered for a proper scaling formula-copy-paste

if the dmg formula for proper level scaling or power scaling is not in there it would explain the weak numbers. that was my point with the copy paste statement.Just to make it easier to understand. If you copy paste something, but the reference goes to 'pet power' then the skill won't find any 'pet power' on the ranger and work with a null reference or an error.Instead it needs to look for however the variable is called for 'player power'

This. And this right here IS the truth. Too much to think about, not enough time to think things through. Expect this one to last for a LONG time....

It's just sad that they have added so many new skills that are completely useless right out of the box when a number tweak would have made them good. If you were doing this, wouldn't you have just doubled the number from the dagger AA or something, so it has at least some reason to press the button?
