Thoughts on EoTM?

I am not sure if anyone would ever be interested in playing EoTM anymore. I am hyped with the Alliance System, but have they mentioned about anything about EoTM?

before we requested EoTM be like it should be, a queue lobby for WvWEoTM once decimated WvW population due to its easier karma WvW gains, Anet basically toned down the rewards on EoTM so that the WvW is the Main WvW mode not EoTM ktrain

Turn the middle into a giant arena (when I say giant anet it means like twice the size of the guild hall arenas), managed to mess that up in two expansions.There have been many requests to change Obsidian Sanctum to have access to eotm colored populations, we don't know if that will ever happen, could always do it the other way around and make a change to the eotm map to make that a useful place for groups to fight.

Other than that, eotm shouldn't be a place to pull population away from the main maps, it was suppose to be just a map available at all times when there's a full queue. If you want to ktrain for easy bags that's still available, but the pips system should probably stay in wvw only or a very low pip rating like not able to get above tier 4 participation and very low pip amount per tick.

As long as pips reign abundant in WvW, there is no incentive to play EoTM unless you're doing the achievements, need easy dailies or all borderlands + EBG is queued. I had the pleasure of watching some nice GvG's the other week in EoTM on the other hand.

Would love to see EotM morph into something that catered to the GvG crowd. Might actually bring some of them back. With all the islands and areas just begging to become various arenas it makes no sense not to put a little more code into it, and use it for something meaningful.
