Toughness feels weak?

So far, I think toughness only work for power based damage, while condition damage and effect is prevented using resistance is that correct?Since there are only few classes that can grant resistance, how about making toughness reduce few duration of disable?That way, it doesn't nullified resistance boon and not overwhelmingly buff the status (i think)

Toughness only works against direct damage that's correct. Vitality is the counter to conditions stat-wise in a way. The only other counters to conditions is cleansing (which all classes have a good amount of access to if built for it) and resistance, which is the newest boon that nullifies any existing conditions on you as long as it's up.

I agree resistance should be more prevalent on some classes. One thing to note is if your class can convert conditions to boons is that converting chill turns it into resistance.
