Would it be possible to sell a third slot for equipped weapons? Right now there are two--my Ranger/Druid can switch between staff and one other weapon. But I'd really like the option to have a third set of weapons to rotate to.

I'd like a Minor Sigil eater. Like the candy corn gobbler. Maybe instead of the single player buff like the candy corn gobbler it gives off party buffs.. ooo party buffs.. might be a reason for people to be in a party. That way if you don't have one you can still get the benefit, while promoting socializing.
I was thinking more of something that would eat the sigils/runes and spit out junk/mats (with some small chance of getting something GOOD.) But please, whatever, give us something to recycle those blasted sigils and runes left over in our packs after salvaging a pile of loot! They take up space, and they take time to destroy manually, and there is no convenient button on the merchants that says 'sell the 21 sigils I'm lugging around.'
Shiros blades(dagger skins that look like swords),
Templar armor from Gw1 for warriors
Charr hide armor for warriors
Drake scale armor for rangers
Vabbian Mesmer armor( would be nice with PoF)
Dunkoros outfit from Gw1
May all of Tyria be blessed with the power of the heros
I want to see some sort of animation from my character when I teleport, instead of just GONE in the blink of an eye. Either a portal I walk through, fairy dust that just makes me dissipate, some horrifying mouth that emerges from the ground that devours me. Whatever! I just want something.
While in principle I like the armor-from-game & outfits-from-store stance, if the reality is that means only a few sets with each expansion then I would certainly get behind the suggestion for a return of armor sets to the store.
On the same line, and inspired by previous posters, one technically challenging suggestion would be: Costume Maker consumables.
Items you by from the gem store, which you use on one of your characters to 'snapshot' your current armor (including dyes & armor-based FX) to fashion an account-wide costume that any character can wear.
I'm thinking the outfit will have no dye channels, because some armor combos won't work if their dye channels are all bound together.
Naturally the outfit would adjust for gender on other characters, as appropriate, but would not adjust for profession.
There would possibly have to be a limit on how many can be created, after which new outfits must over-write old (unless there were a means to convert such costumes to items to chop & change them freely).
I miss my old Obsidian & Vabbian armor from GW1 ... (Warrior's for heavy. Ranger's for medium (No trench coats on either of them so unlikely...). Ele's for light.) With a touch up of course and no rubbish 2D junk attached.
Sometimes I cannot find out where my infinite gathering tools are. Even with spots in shared inventory dedicated to putting them back. I really would like to support the idea of the shared gathering tool slots!
Also the Elite kurzik ranger Armor from GW2. I'd love to have it even as an outfit!
I'd love to see a glider or mount skin that acted like a tonic - something where it actually transformed you into a creature or something similar with that ability. For example, a "glider tonic" could transform you into a bird or wyvern or something, and a "mount tonic" could be like a horse or deer. If you wanted to take it one step further, you could even make it possible for another player to ride on top of you if you used the "mount tonic"!
Just throwing that out there
Been suggesting this since year 1. "Personality Kits" that change the voice, idle animation, and emotes of your character. For example: Evil Scientist - gives your character a stereotypical German evil scientist voice and emotes of a mad scientist.
You could make up an infinite amount of these kits and they would sell like hot cakes, at a premium price, because it would be the most character customization in any MMO to date.

Players have shared a number of terrific suggestions for Guild Wars 2 Gem Store items. From outfits that hark back to old Tyria to miniatures that warm the heart, from dye sets that personalize your look to new gliders that make a statement, player ideas have help us expand our Gem Store to include a wide variety of wonderful items.
If you have a suggestion – or several! – that you’d like to share with the development team about potential Gem Store items, please post them in this continuing thread.
Thanks for your input!
Hey Gaile. It would be fun to add more Armor sets to the gem store. I'd love to see GW1's Elementalist Obsidian Armor in there and I bet other people would love to see their favourite Obsidian armor
A return of some more GW1 armor - be it as armor or, less ideally, outfits - would also be nice. Just... no repeat of the Profane armor. My favorite necro armor from GW1 turned into something silly in GW2.
Outfits that differ from race to race. Like the wedding outfit. Those are rather neat.
Town Clothing returned as a proper outfit. I'd prefer if the old tonic was turned into a outfit consumable but honestly I'll take a new gemstore outfit too. Turning some of the old town clothing gemstore skins that got turned into tonics as new kinds of outfits would be acceptable as well.
All these squares make a circle.
All these squares make a circle.
All these squares make a circle.
I'd like to see more GW1 armor and weapons make a comeback. Necromancer Fanatics Armor, Ritualist Ancient Armor, the Factions Celestial Weapons and, well, pretty much everything. The Factions and Nightfall faces, hairstyles and more skin tone options on Humans are something I'd love to see more of too.
Specific skins - a non-buttcape chest item for medium armor, non-mask/pirate hat options for medium face armor, some sylvari medium boots that wouldn't shred chairs, a heavyarmor head piece that shows hairstyles, some non-robe/gown options for light armor. Okay, maybe some feathery pirate hat options for light armor. You don't have to do full outfits. Just some broadening of the options would be nice.
A full set of Dreamer harvesting tools. I think the axe is beautiful. I'd love to see a mining pick and a harvesting sickle to match.
If you could make the glider sets that look like wings, all actually flap like wings? WOULD LOVE.
In the same vein...some black/white wings that actually look like wings and flap like wings? Pleeeease?

I'm currently hooked on one particular glider concept, after my brother enlightened me as to the Shadow Raven Tonic working whilst gliding; I want a glider skin which 'transforms' the user into a swarm of bats, akin to Bottle of Batwing Brew.
I.e. Jump off a great height looking normal > discrete dark magic 'burst' animation entering/exiting bat swarm form > gliding merrily along as a swarm of bats.
I know this will seemingly impede precision flying, but if people can adapt to steering a magic carpet or meteor I'm sure it wouldn't take long to get used to.
Sometimes if you start gliding before everything has fully loaded the glider doesn't appear and it looks like your character is just flying with their arms out. I'd love to be able to have that as a permanent option.
Mount skins: I really hope we'll get mount skins like we got glider skins -
More items for our home instance like decorations, the option to let minis roam the home instance or different/more NPCs or the abilty to change NPCs in our home instance(some of them are really annoying). Or even better: A housing system for our characters ;_; I don't feel at home anywhere...please give my poor little guardian a home of her own :<
unlimited permanent makeover kit
more shared inventory space
shared gathering tools. Why isn't that an option yet?
a storage place for crafting materials(you know...those crafted materials that we can't store in our normal material storage like the gossamer insignias?). I don't want to put them all into my bank(and I have unlocked all bank tabs!). I just hate the clutter.
more skins. I LOVE skins. And all the old hats WITH hair please.
bigger 'minis'. I would love to travel the world with Trahearne on my side xD (it bothers me that character minis are...mini. They look ridiculous). Seriously, that would make me so happy -
I haven't read all pages so maybe it has been suggested already, but it would be nice to be able to buy crafting stations for our home instances and bank and trading post... And shared harvesting slots for our harvesting tools (especially practical when you bought infinite harvesting tools ^_^)
EDIT: Ok I just read everything and the shared gathering tool slots are mentioned a lot... Maybe it's a sign?
I know its starting to sound like a broken record at this point but RACE CHANGE KIT! i know its easy to get a level 80 character but what about personal story and living world progress? im attached to my character and dont want to have to start again because i dont like how he looks.
i know there's the argument that personal story and character background complicate things but why not make it a purely cosmetic change? changes absolutely nothing except the characters voice and the way they look. it wouldn't even be necessary to change the characters home instance. Make it only available after the personal story is over so there's no need to re-record personal story dialogue. if for nothing else, think of the rp potential. with a race change kit, you could play an asura who grew up with and acts like a norn. or a high society charr adopted by a rich human family as a cub.
Some people are asking for the harvesting tool slots to be shared account wide. There are a few things to take into account:
some players have already bought multiple infinite tools for multiple characters.
some players may want to equip different infinite tools for different races/professions, not the same tools across all.
Arenanet would probably sell less infinite tools if the slots were shared.
We do already have shared inventory slots, although they are of course not as convenient, as you have to remember to equip the tools etc.
Just some thoughts!
allows a player to change the hue of there skills. only visible in PVE of course as it complicates PVP (though it could add an additional challenge for PVP players)

I love this idea. I would give it ten thumbs up if I could. I can't remember what Dracula movie it was that had Dracula turn into a swarm of bats (Dracula Untold?) but it was awesome. Thank you for suggesting it. Anet, my money wants to get intimate with your coffers.
I am not a fan of Outfits. I miss Town Clothes, and the ability to both mix and match, and dye them. I hate the tonics because they lack the ability to be dyed, to mix and match, and have a time limit. As an RPer it is very disappointing. If we are stuck with Outfits, then at least please let us hide shoulders and gloves in addition to the helm!
For Gem Store items:
1. Ultra rare drop Permanent Makeover Kit Contract
2. Armor/Weapon Skins - Perhaps 'mix & match' where you can buy single pieces if you want.
3. Weapon Dye Transmutes - Because some of us like our weapons to match color wise! Or, hey, just make weapons have dye channels.
4. Simple Outfits with less frilly or obnoxious kitten on them, please. Tell the design team to chill a little bit!
That said, thanks for all your work, and for listening to your players.
You guys separated the shoulder pads from Braham's new outfit, I would love nothing more from the gemstore to see the Mask from that outfit added to the gemstore as a solo item. Pleeeaaase I would gladly pay 1,000 gems for it.
Also as possible suggestion, why not an option you can buy on the Gem Store where you can reset your character's story and be able to re-choose what guild you want to be sided with? I am sure I am not the only one that has had regret from choosing a guild on a character you never thought you would get hooked on, and then you feel complete regret.
Would also love to see a return of an updated Bone Dragon Staff from Guild Wars 1. As much as I like the current legendary staffs in GW2 I always felt this would have made an incredible Legendary in GW2 with glowing eyes and a beating heart in the rib cage. But since we already have 2 Staffs I would love to see it return as a gemshop item.
The staff sounds fearsome and would look divine with the Necrotic Glider. I would really like to have the Necrotic glider as a back item too though, as it would make an ideal set.
A pass book that allows you to put all your passes into 1 book similar to how we have a book that allows us to buy the pages that teleport us to the living story zones. Many of us have recently received the Heart of Elon pass for prepurchasing the game. But many of us already had other passes like the Lava Lounge, Airship Pass, etc. It would be nice to combine them all into 1 item slot and be given the choice as to which pass area we want to go to.
This one please, I have 4 passes inc the Elon pass and I have 3 of them in my shared slots as I use them all. This one would mean I could buy more for the new zones if some come out.
I ended up with two bank expansions I can't use. I had purchased one of the bundle packs and it came along with it. It would be nice to have some means of converting items either back to gems or into something useful for my account.
Not sure if this is the right place to ask it.. because it's kind of a gemstore thing (hairstyle contract), but I'd love to see more original guildwars 1 hairstyles.
I strongly feel that incorporating some of these into gw2 without making any major changes would please a lot of people. If they were made into armor sets and placed in the gem store (not in the black lion chests - I actively avoid buying keys) I can guarantee you I would throw my cash at you.
Some of these are really different compared to the weights of which I've sorted them into (like paragon as a heavy armor set, dervish as a med armor set), but each weight needs much more variety in them. Please no more buttcapes, side-skirts and trenchcoats for med!

Pathfinder Parachute glider skin plz.
You stand to benefit more from making friends than you do making enemies.
Elite Luxon (Necromancer ) armor was [email protected] aswell. Love to see that one for light armor (because necromancer is light armor).
I'd love to see lyssa's outfit return and the 3 bag bundle on sale like last year to prepare your characters for PoF.
I'd love to see a glider or mount skin that acted like a tonic - something where it actually transformed you into a creature or something similar with that ability. i want a Charr mount for my Asura hahahah

These are just skins from the original Guild Wars that I think would make a splash as a gem store outfit, or even as a new armor set (hint, hint!):
