PvP Forums Are Literally Unplayable

These forums are getting hard to visit.

Mesmers OP, Mesmers OP, Mesmers OP, Scourges Suck, Mesmers OP, Mesmers OP.

Can we get some thread consolidation or locks when there are dupes? Please :D

I know people are upset, and we absolutely need a way to freely express feedback, but it's getting a bit out of hand. Fresher, more interesting posts might get buried in the multiple threads with the same basic ideas.

People in general get annoyed with thread dupes, but usually when pvp floods with dupes its for a reason that doesn't just go away with consolidation.

Ah yes that reason, hysteria.

Devs did this to themselves after ignoring the forums for years, being reluctant to push for any meaningful balance in the game, and really dictating the meta be intentionally leaving classes overtuned or overnerfing others.

Look at how Riot Games does minor nerfs to abilities pretty regularly, and will continue to tune classes up or down as necessary. Anet, on the other hand, goes 3-4 months between changes, pushing a sweeping mass of heavy-handed nerfs and then puts the forum on ignore for awhile. They don't communicate in any meaningful way. Remember, the most recent changes to sPvP/WvW were purely skill splits and not actual balance changes. That means it will be 6-8 MONTHS between patches where the dev team actually looks at the meta, determines what's overtuned or undertuned, and then ultimately buff and nerf the wrong skills and lets the players down again for the 50th consecutive time.

Until Anet makes a dedicated effort and starts making biweekly adjustments to ratios, the forums will continue to be a message, and let's face it - not a single person at Anet cares enough to put that sort of effort into PvP balance.

Um... no? You think that if you behave like a spoiled kid it will fix everything? Seriously??Have yo looked at the frequency of patches? 6-8 months my behind. Yeah they are not perfect (same can be said about rito) but they are there. Anet are working and actually listen to people even more now. This entire "ignore the community and 6 months patches" is so 2017. Have you even played the game? :DAlo, "skill splits". Yeah sure, reducing the ammount of passive invulns is kalled "skill split" great job man! I'm so glad that you are not in the balance team.Anywho, have fun at league! I will enjoy GW2 tyvm.
