scureuil.4052
HelloMore than ever, the defensors are at disadvantage when they are on a wall and try to defend. It's more dangerous to be in a structure too defend than to attack. Is there something coming about that ?
Honor.1982
You're a couple days off of April fools you know. Unless you honestly think that map ques of people sitting on acs/balis/trebs/catas/mortars/cannons is disadvantageous. Lets not forget how imbalanced tactics are too, and guild claim auras. scureuil.4052
I was thinking more about individual player trying too fight without siege arm, but I see your point of view

hunkamania.7561
no worries, losing or capturing a keep means nothing anyways. All the structures auto upgrade so it takes little effort to re upgrade structures since the game does all the work so why are you even worrying about this is beyond me. You get 0 rewards for capturing or defending keeps. I have to say tho, defenders have the advantage with all the garbage they added with Heart of Thorns and why would you be standing on the wall to get easily bombed? scureuil.4052
well, perhaps to try to disable the offensive siege arm, to try to destroy those siege arm, to try to gain some time in hope some help is coming. And sometime, an arm siege is not attaignable without going on the wall

Easy, just jump out of the structure then you're on even terms with the attacker!

Optimator.3589
Leto, what are you doing trying to use defensive siege? You know that stuff is just there for decorative purposes, right?
X T D.6458
Wow I knew Mag loved their siege, but damn even new players are smart enough to avoid using oil :joy:
XenesisII.1540
The problem is scaling in the game.If one or two people are at a keep when it's attacked by 25 people, they should be able to do some things to stall until they get the numbers on their side as well. That means using siege built in appropriate places, structure siege built from upgrading, siege disablers, tactivators. The one or two should only be able to stall long enough along with t3 upgrades to wait for a response, not chase off an entire army if that's what you're expecting. If 25 were already at the keep to defend when an attacking army comes by, it gets extremely difficult to attack that structure because of the siege fire littering the ground with catas, trebs, acs, mortars, cannons, shield gens, all the while most likely under presence of the keep buff. There's nothing more they can give to make defending more advantageous on walls because of the scaling. If you're still dying on the wall, check your positioning. GutterRat.1269
Take it from someone who has 10k hours of primarily home border defense: the oils are solely decorative.
