A Better Solution for Gathering Tools than current changes

Why not just make Gathering Tools like mount skins. You pay gems to unlock them once. Then you can choose which one to equip from a menu similar to choosing a mount, or an outfit.This completely eliminates the need for using Transmutation Charges. It eliminates the need to switch tools each time you log onto a different character. It is a simple solution that you already have the interface for, you just have to implement for tools as well.

And it cuts into the profits from people who are lazy that buy multiple tools.

It's meant to be an inconvenience to give you a reason to buy more than 1. If they made them account unlocks, they would easily double their price, and glyphs would essentially replace the tools, now being temporary with a set duration or number of uses and placed in their own slot.
