BG vs all other servers combined

This is not a match up thread, here's an idea. For a server that's been holding the 1st place for several months, why not create an event week, in which BG is up against all the other servers? If this is too much, BG vs other 2 servers in the same tier can work :)

Although, I have a feeling BG will still have stronger cover and win lol.

It's better off if BG is just deleted and players are forced to disperse on other servers. If Anet did do this, it wouldn't make much of a difference as servers are being abolished anyway in a few months.

If you look at the matchups, it's BG vs 4 servers.

More seriously, what do you mean by the '2 servers' comment at the end? BG (and every other server) faces at least 2 servers

BG has been beaten down in the past when other servers have truly cared to put in the effort. But what does that actually get those servers? Where is the payoff for said effort? It's just not worth it to try and match the round-the-clock coverage, and frankly, PPTing empty objectives is boring af.

As XTD alluded to, with BG at the top of T1 and SOS in the middle, it really is only an annoyance to 1 other server every week. Right now, with the KNT transfer stacking YB up, and them playing like BG junior, it looks like they're going to be in T1 every other week anyway. So that leaves maybe TC(as a PPT-heavy server) to alternate with them. /shrug....until the restructure, just let sleeping dogs lie.

Have to admit with the addition of KNT and others coming to YB last week wasn't as horrid a chore as it has been in the past. Still lack that lovely lovely offhours that anyone who wants to compete in T1 must have. Doesn't matter since the blow up will happen eventually, but in the interim yeah we can move up one week, and then back down the next.

From what i see, SoS bows down on BG and accepts them as the one true king.last reset, SoS's full armada head straight on TC's EBG keep while BG capped SMC uncontested, no 3 way fight that time because of that bold move.after TC's cavalry slaughtered SoS's forces at a T0 keep, TC started on SMC while SoS pursued the attacks on TC towers instead, and the rest is history.

Lesson learned, Go to SoS OP.

KnT has very little to no interest in returning to T1. Most of us wanted to be on a server that would visit T1 every once in a while to fight our BG friends but we didn't join YB/ET to help push them to T1. Tbf we have done very little in the way of PPT unless there is literally nothing to fight. YB just had a good mix of everything we wanted.

Whats funny is that YB/ET on reset had queues that I haven't seen in months on BG.

No one believes that. No one believes that in NA prime outside of reset, they are outnumbered on 2 of the maps consistently.

BG always runs 100 people blobs on all maps all the time.

First, will miss you folks and hope you have fun in your new home. Second...YB eww... Third, yes I did notice how blobby YB was last time, and it was pretty consistent throughout the matchup. We'll see how the next linking works out and who you end up partnered up.

The outnumbered icon is not really there, its just painted on...we actually have 24/7 non-pug blobs on every map every day.

BG was home for a lot of us for a long time so we miss the server a ton, a lot of awesome people on BG but YB has been awesome too. YB does do a lot of things that I say eww to as well, just know it wasn't KnT that built that open field AC XD. But really though, YB/ET's NA is fat, probably fatter than BG's (maybe) but the major difference is YB has multiple tags per map where as BG doesn't have the tags so you get 1 big blob.

Were all just waiting for JQ's triumphant return to take down BG once and for all. :smiley:

Did Anet cancel their plans to do that whole world restructuring around guilds or something? It just seems as if that we’re true based on how much of a fuss people are making about the worlds and who will implode or become the next “best”.

Anet merely informed us of something that they are "working on" We have no eta as far as I know. It could be 6 months, a year, or never, we don't know. So until that happens, its business as usual.

WE admit us from SOS ,BG is a formidable Server that never sleep a 24/7 ppl always on ,we jus hanging tight till our last breath ,and just avoiding to get demoralized like jq,db,mag etc,etc ,at the moment some of guilds from SOS are on Hybernation mode we expect maybe goin down to t2 soon .

thing about BG is, the more you try to push them down, the more stronger they get. Also we have few fight/pugmanders coming back in game. Good job on that spawn treb from your citadel btw. And your server-mates seems to like the exploits.

Who takes WvW serious anymore? Since the most servers are dead right now its more likely that the ppl who seriously want to enjoy WvW all transed to BG so they have mates to play with. Its not a secret that the most players gave up to ppting.

It's not possible to compete with BG because ANET won't allow any other server to overstack to the level that BG has. You need coverage to compete with BG, but the current server limits don't allow that.

And since the players on BG aren't interested in transferring to create competition, we're stuck with this idiotic situation until Alliances.

ANET's original plan was to kill JQ, which they eventually did. But in the process created a much worse situation by allowing BG to overstack to the point of absurdity. Now ANET's only recourse is to blow up all the servers and start over. Which is what the alliance system is all about. The server system could have worked, but ANET mismanaged it very badly.
