@Gaile Gray.6029 can we please get a special subsection just for competitive wvw and spvp videos like these? As opposed to having them posted all over the place?

Having a competitive video section would allow discussion threads to remain discussion threads, while providing a spot for players to post their self promotion wvw and spvp videos... And anyone seeking to watch competitive videos, can simply visit the section devoted to wvw and spvp videos. I think it would work out just great for everyone!

I appreciate these being in the WvW section as it helps to detail out gameplay and usage in WvW.

any burst build, i dont really understand how deadeye has trouble with him in the vid but he should have wrecked him.

im pretty sure he struggles with thiefs/warriors/mesmers maybe even rangers

I'd say Spellbreaker, they are quite tanky & got insane burst damage. It's very difficult to me to kill a good Spellbreaker

No thief build can kill a tanky condi/healing sword weaver, be it wvw or pvp :1) A sword/dagger weaver can easily keep up with a deadeye thx to polaric leap, ride the lightning and more2) Lava skin+ primordial stance will blast any thief with burning/bleeding stacks...there is effectively no way for the thief to get close or away ..unless he starts shortbow 5 away3) The build is too tanky to tackle for thieves who are generally susceptible to condis...and no not even condi thief will stand a chance

This build will have a really hard time vs any warrior built on resistance or condi mirages; he won't be able to kill a well played druid who will maintain the upper hand during all fight but never able to finish him - a soulbeast with second skin and boonbot build will give him a hard time too but again the soulbeast won't be able to kill him even while having the upper hand

Basically 80% of the dmg here is condi with burn/bleeding, even if you can manage that ..you still need ways to surpass that double/triple heal burst and barrier on dodge/dual skill

Thats totally true, the easiest MU for me is duelling a thief, you have nearly as mobility as him thanks to Air 2/4/Teleport, you can eavde his burst, you can condition him a lot & avoid CC with stab.In the other hand, Spellbreaker is really hard, nearly permanent resistance & stab, our average power DPS is not enough to kill a good Spellbreaker, who got both Tanky & more DPS than us.

A game for casuals?It is easy to spam evades, and damage skills that can hit 5 targets and damage them all at the same time.Now make a video where you do the same but with warrior dagger + shield (1 target only)Warrior is where true skill lies, one target at a time!

How to counter S/D Weaver -> Walk away while they tickle you.

I honestly loathe this build. Would rather watch paint dry than spend an hour watching their health bars yo-yo while they repeatedly attempt their CC condi rotation.

What would you rather play against?

1) Someone spamming 2-3-3-2 over and over and over again till the target drop? or just swap weapon and spamm 5 till you're far enough for all your health back and ready to go again while your target has everything on CD? (thief)

2)Someone running in cirlce pressing 1-2-3-4-5-F1-F2-F3-F4 rinse and repeat where your only chance is to attack from range or...(lol) spam evades to get close?(necromancer)

3) Someone with perma protection-regen-stability going back to full health with uninterruptable main heal and CC skills with massive aoe range going through walls and several heights; F6 AA quickness spam for absurd dmg...plus access to stealth and great moblity? plus..kitten (holosmith)

4) Someone who can't be CCed, can't be attacked. who stealth..oh man the list is just too long (mirage) ?

6) Someone with perma everything and tankiness of a super tank with more than too good dmg? (boonbeast)

7) Someone with passive everything dealing near one shot dmg while being more mobile and more tanky than you (warrior) ?

...I can't bother to list the rest but....what do you play from 1 to 7?....I will be waiting here for your answer, with the usual L2P arguments because ....yeah because

P.S wait..hes' a rev then it's staff 3-dodge-dodge-staff5-chaotic release -shiro - phase traveal -sword 5-AA spam if target still alive..repeat the sequence as necessary...a "very complicated" combo, a burst combo with teleport/quickness at core guard style
