Can't sell items on new character. — Guild Wars 2 Forums

Can't sell items on new character.

Some strange problem.
Create 2 days ago Warrior, got 80lvl, and.... and can't sell items looted from Champs, Leges or other activities.
Today got from on of them Suti's Hexbreaker. Can't sell.
Put into the bank.
Relog from old char and... can sell.
Relog from new new char - can't sell again.
Magic...

I think this is BUG.

Is your new character using Invisible Bags?

What Inculpatus said. Check what kind of container the item goes into when you're on your warrior. If it's a safe box or invisible bag, then that's what's causing the issue.

Oh look. I have a signature now.

  • Ya safe boxes dont show in trade

    100% bug:
Text on wiki: "Items in this box will never appear in a sell-to-vendor list and will not move when inventory is sorted."
Most correctly - or allow sell, or change description.

No it states it clearly will never appear in a sell to vendor list.
So you wont see it when selling to vendors or the trading post.

I don't see how that's a "bug." The text is, at worst, slightly ambiguous.
I'm not against it being changed, but I also don't think that there's a phrasing that will 100% eliminate anyone misunderstanding the first time.

tl;dr at the very worst, the phrasing affects a tiny fraction of players just once; most players understand that the "never appear in a sell" list includes the TP.

Hype is the path to the dark side. Hype leads to unfulfilled expectations. Disappointment leads to anger. Anger leads to disgust. Disgust leads to "oh, new shinies! I'm back!"

  • Thanks for your answers. It's hepls me.
