When I find users in PVP who clearly use hacks I cannot report them because theres no proper way to do it?

There is not much of any PvP related support for things you can already report. Adding more options would make no difference imho.

Not really, since most people can't make difference between builds and actual hacks.

Thief blinked twice = hack
Someone stealthed for more than 3 seconds = hack
Scourge kills you in its aoes = hack
Ele didnt die immediately = hack
Warrior didnt die at all = hack etc.

While it would result in a lot of false positives, it also helps to set a trend. Other games (LoL for example) have good results from their report system. Using it as a flag to run a check on a person's logs is probably better than having to monitor everyone... That said, Arena Net, while they claim they do monitor and address reports doesn't seem to place much importance in the system. For one it never had nearly enough categories for reporting possible actions and there's anecdotal evidence at least of actual botters, hackers, afk farmers, etc being reported by multiple people and remaining active for months.So yeah... Its easier to get a ban for making a video of someone else cheating than for cheating.

Let us be very clear about it:

The problem is that they never changed the description of that option to clearly show this. So there's people who open the report panel, look at the options, do not see the one they are looking for, and then shrug, or complain there's no option for it.

The "Botting" report option needs to be renamed to something like "Botting, hacking, or other cheating behaviors", same as the expended description that has to make clear that's the option when you see someone who may be cheating.

Reporting in-game is a joke. Those options are just there to make you feel better that you tried to do something, but in reality Anet do absolutely nothing with your report. So don't waste your time. The report menu is just for looking at, that's all.
