Theme/story: after events in HOT and right before events of POF, some necromancers banded together in seeking of lost arts. Necromancers, as master of death and dark magic, have array of spectral abilities, but all of them are very basic (except of Lich Form, but even it isn't as strong as it could be). Some necromancers believed in a legend of old magic, old spectral magic which was so strong that the user could easily walk into underworld and back from it without any problems. Thus, these necromancers searched any leads of this legend, searching through whole world of any knowledge regarding spectral magic, while also performing all sorts of rituals trying to contact spirits from the underworld... until they achieved what they wanted. However, what they found was terrifying to even most veteran necromancers - power to turn them into ghosts and abandon life altogether.This new type of necromancers was researched and practiced in south-east region of the discovered world, deep underneath the ground in a new temple build by flesh golems for these necromancers to have a place to dedicate their new powers and share their new experience between each other.After events of POF, necromancers of this temple contacted other necromancers, mostly practitioners of reaper's and scourge's arts in attempts to combine all three of these schools of necromancy into one single supreme advanced form of necromancy. However, it didn't work as all three crafts didn't blend together, but in the aftermath of this the world learned about new school of necromancy and it slowly gain more popularity among new necromancers - Geistlord, a necromancy laid not in the line between life and death, but directly after those.Essentially Geistlord is a necromancy who technically died, went to underworld, managed to return back to the world of the living as a ghost and then possessed their own body turning into semi-undead. Though, they can revert back into living beings and abandon their new spectral powers, but it is even harder than gaining them.If reaper is usually seen as unstoppable horror pursuing its pray, then Geistlord would be seen as creepy ghost which lurks in the dark places inflicting constant feel of dread. While reaper can be seen as big bad guy who doesn't die no matter what you throw at it and continues its pursuit, then Geistlord is that creepy ghost which slowly drives you mad and eventually drags you down.

Adept Minor Trait (Lord of Ghosts)Unlock Shortbow, allow you to use Ectoplasm abilities and unlock Spectral Healing ability.Replace your Death Shroud with Spectral Shroud. Increase life force generation by 10% and reduce life force drain while in shroud by 10%.While you are in stealth you are Incorporeal. While Incorporeal you dodge all attacks and move 33% faster than normal. Whenever you gain stealth your minions also gain stealth for the same duration and they will stop attacking until they leave stealth or until you leave stealth.

Adept Major Trait LineMajor Trait 1 (Something Behind You)Increase duration of stealth on you by 1/2 sec. Your Stealth Attacks inflict 5 stack of vulnerability for 5 sec.Major Trait 2 (Immortality After Death)Gain 10% of your maximum life force when you gain protection. Cooldown: 5 sec.Major Trait 3 (Ghostmancer)Reduce cooldown by 10% and increase damage done by 7% of your Ectoplasm abilities.

Master Minor Trait (Damned Walk)Allow you to move at 66% of your normal speed while you are downed. Moving will not cancel any of your abilities.

Master Major Trait LineMajor Trait 4 (Plague Form the Shadows)Gain 2 sec of stealth after you dodge (cooldown: 5 sec). Gain 100 bonus condition damage while you are in stealth and for 3 sec after leaving stealth.Major Trait 5 (Spectral Reconstruction)Gain regeneration for 5 sec whenever you gain protection. Cooldown: 10 sec.Major Trait 6 (Poltergeist)Your Shortbow abilities will now trigger Haunt after 6 stacks of Haunting.

Grandmaster Minor Trait (Back From the Dead)While you are downed consume your life force to slowly revive yourself. Consume 10% of your maximum life force every second to revive yourself by 7%.

Grandmaster Major Trait LineMajor Trait 7 (Unstoppable March)Remove and reflect all movement impairing conditions while you are in shroud. Your conditions will last longer equal to percentage of your bonus movement speed up to 33% longer duration.Major Trait 8 (Hunger for Life)Increase duration of protection and regeneration on you by 33%. Increase healing power by 400 for all your leeching abilities and effects while you have regeneration or protection.Major Trait 9 (Envoy to Death)Increase your ferocity by 200 for 5 sec after dealing damage to an enemy who is at or bellow 50% of its health. Gain 100 bonus ferocity while in shroud.



F1 (Spectral Shroud)Enter into shroud. This shroud acts similarly like a normal long range shroud, but with different abilities.

HauntAfter 10th stack of Haunting is applied (or 6th with Major Master Trait 6), then all stacks will be consumed causing affected enemy to suffer unblockable damage for a short duration.

Elite Ectoplasm (Channel Your Soul)Cause your ghostly soul to leap out of your body for a duration. While in this form you are invulnerable to damage and control effects, your body remains at location where you used this ability and will take 66% less damage. When this ability ends or when you you reactivate it, then your soul will release devastating explosion dealing damage to nearby enemies and cause your soul to return back to your body. You can't use any of your other ability while this ability is active (though, any abilities activated before this ability and all passive effects still remain active on your body.

  • Casting time: 1 sec
  • Cooldown: 100 sec
  • Maximum range between you and your body: 2000
