Mysterious Mists Traveler, anyone? (Zeghai of the Lost)

So, there are three new weapon skins + 1 inscription sold by said person. Saw the NPC earlier in Rata Sum, but now they are gone.

Anyone detected a pattern of their travel route yet?

P.S. These are the skins: Mistcleaver, Mistrender, Mistbreaker (check your wardrobe storage)

Maybe it's the lost revenant weapons we never got.

Oh that line in the late notes intrigues me, anyone know more about it?

They are. An Axe, a Mace and a Hammer respectively.

So far the wiki only has some crafting info for the axe, though it's still incomplete. The pages for the axe and the recipe were updated/created today. Give it time for people to update the wiki as they find more info. Maybe Dulfy will have a guide eventually.

This mysterious NPC must be new. Hopefully they did give us a way to finally get those Revenant beta weapons. Last I saw quite some time ago, a dev explained they somehow lost the files on these weapons and would have to rebuild them from scratch.

It seems they are finally making the Mistward Revenant beta weapon skins available. Was hoping for a Mistward Sword skin too. Oh well.

I wish I could! I only remember seeing the name while rushing by, then later another player told me this was the NPC for said new/old weapons (that player got the recipe for the Cleaver). Hmph...

Edit - This was their location: Department Of Arcane Eye POI.

I know. I meant the wiki hasn't been updated yet to indicate it can be crafted. Sorry for the confusion.

I'm guessing that this NPC changes around capital cities every so often. I'm still looking XD

Went to Rata Sum and nothing. Went back later to the POI mentioned on the wiki and there he was. Along with like a hundred other players LOL https://imgur.com/a/0tH1l87

He only had 1 recipe though. People say what he has for sale changes depending on spawn location.

People had waited hours for him to show up at the Grove and Rata Sum.

Edit: He seems to stick around longer than the 5 minutes some people have claimed.

Wiki is reporting that he popped up at Sculptor's End in Malchor's Leap. Based on what Charrbeque mentioned earlier, I now suspect that Zeghai has a list of fixed locations that he rotates through, staying 30 mins each time. We just never spotted him before because people were looking in cities and areas closely linked to the Mists.

The big question now is whether or not his list of locations includes areas in HoT and PoF...

Just bought the hammer recepie Mistbreaker from this guy he was in the graveyard in Stronghold of Ebonhawk close to the heropoint. Got the inscription atomatic learning the recepie. Was just selling the hammer and only there for a very short time.Didn´t realy know what i was buying until i started google it ;)

• The mysterious mist traveller seems to be on a 2 hour rotation spawning 10 minutes before (game's) dawn and despawning 10 minutes after dawn. The recipes seem to change on each spawn, i.e. he remains about 25 minutes at each location.
• He can appear anywhere: specifically, he's been in Rata, Grove, Sculptor's End (in Orr), gendarren fields/Stonefish beach, etc

In game, someone says it's both dawn & dusk, so more like 25 minutes out of every hour.

Just another goldsink, keeping players wp'ing around in the hope they land in a lucky shard. Completely unwarranted farce and darn right infuriating waste of time imo.. just place the traveller in set locations for a set day like with PoF... otherwise it's just sillyseason all over again.

I would like to quote that_shaman from twitter: "Zeghai has gone from "interesting mystery" to one of the most frustrating things in months. If you can't find a single NPC in half an hour with over 150 people (3 full squads) combing every single inch of a map because "f-yeah time gated RNG" there's something very wrong with it"
