Perhaps a bit more mechanical questions as of nature than others, but I've always been thinking about the differences between those two systems in the original game coming together as one in the sequel.
What was the main issue that led you guys to cutting Hex system in favour of expanded Condition system? Was it the fact that each one needed it's own cleanses? Or was it moving the combat system into faster and more visual-oriented form present in GW2 that provoked removal of the more complex Hexes/Enchantments? Or, perhaps, they just felt redundant?
Are there any Hexes or Hex-based interactions you have particular nostalgia for?
