[PvP] Scourge Blood Sage Tips

Hi, i'm not very experienced with PvP and always played my own made-up build, but i've decided to try out this https://metabattle.com/wiki/Build:Scourge_-_Blood_Sage

There's no rotation on the page and i could use a little advice on how to play this really effectively. The big question for me is how would i general engage somebody in both a 1v1 and XvX scenario? What weapon and skill should i open with? When should i use Desert Shroud? Any advice is appreciated :)

Open by dropping a sand shade on them, never engage 1v1, always have and hug your babysitter (pref a firebrand), use your marks defensively, desert shroud is both your main defence and offence, get a feel on how and when to use it through games.
