Even to not mention the disbalance of the new released elite specs.... . Forcing people to buy POF or to take the disadvantage of fighting vs. new/strong/unbalanced people/teams with POF specs. Should be no problem to release a new Add-on in off-season... but thats anet. Ignoring the fact, that every new game/add on of any publisher struggles with server stability and bugs.
