Did they just amp Spec Shield?

Spectrum Shield: The damage reduction of this skill now stacks multiplicatively with other damage-reducing effects instead of additively.

It's a nerf. What you used to be able to do was stack it with hard light arena for 83% damage reduction (Prot). If you also ran iron blooded or light density amplifier it would let you get close to 100% dr so you'd take almost 0 power damage.Now the same combo will get you to ~75%dr (Prot and iron blood/LDA supply ~50%, then spectrum shield halves it again now, rather than adding another 50%dr), which is a serious nerf in this circumstance. In spvp/roam it's still enough to keep anyone from wanting to trade blows with you, but it won't save you from a zerg bomb anymore.

It’s not a nerf it’s a bug fix, all damage reduction is supposed to stack multiplicatively not additively so you can’t get to the point of 0 damage taken which spectrum shield was bugged as stacking additive despite multiple reports from forum users. The same bug was with rite of the great dwarf which has been fixed.

They increased duration from 3 to 4 secs in the 27 March patch. The duration is today again 3 secs? So double nerf to this skill?

ya kinda assumed it was a nerf had to double check i wasn't wrong, I'll like to believe running spec shield now isn't a 100% must anymore and is trad-able with a few other utilizes like possibly e-gun or something just as good.

No, that's just a PvE/PvP Split
