[SoR] The Comeback Starts Here!

Just like Rocky, Sanctum of Rall is making a comeback in the World vs. World scene. After being down for so long, guilds and players are returning home. Guilds like [sOAR], [GAL] and [NG] are building on the legacy of all the guilds that made SoR a Tier 1 server back in the day.

For only 500 gems, you get to fight the good fight in T1 alongside Jade Quarry, and train up for alliances with like-minded guilds.

The comeback starts here.

If you are a former SoR player, a returning WvW'er, a new player or someone looking for an exciting experience - come to Sanctum of Rall.

Here's how:

  • Every account that upgrades from F2P to Paid gets 1 Free transfer - use it!
  • Convert about 150 gold to 500 gems and cover the transfer cost - easy!
  • And if this doesn't work for you, or you're looking to bring over a group of players, contact me and we'll work something out - bingo!

Contact me at Mysteriax.6049 or Bad Axxe#2937 for more information about SoR.

And remember... "Every champion was once a contender who refused to give up." - Rocky Balboa

SoR is great! We here at JQ love the people in SoR. They're fun to play with and friendly!Anyone looking for a link to bounce around in and play with new guilds should definitely consider it!Very sad to say we'll likely unlink in a few weeks. SoR will be sorely missed.

As one of the recent people to move to SoR I have to agree... having lots of fun with SoR and JQ. :)

GSCH had nothing to do with the T1 powerhouse. That had everything to do with Indo and GA buying guilds. Once IRON left, and then the OCX players, SoR could not hang on, and eventually the burnt out NA moved on to other servers with better coverage.

Again, GSCH had nothing to do with that. I give props to FEAR, Choo, IRON, HIRE, TW, LUN, Hel, etc for that.

I hung on to SoR until late 2014, when finally I moved on. The community was in shambles, GSCH was promoting "beer league WvW", and the PvErs who never cared about WvW until it was dead empty started complaining and pushing away those remaining WvW-focused players.

I wish you guys the best. I am sure much has changed since linkings, which means there very well may be a better community, because now there is more than just GSCH on SoR. I am sure people transferred over for T1 matchups as a link. Good luck.

I agree, FEAR, HIRE and IRON ( for the timezone i played from, I seen very little of Choo ) where the main driving forces behind SoR heading to T1, IRON heading back to EU was the downward spiral for SoR, FEAR as good as they where had some hostile commanders, ( for most peoples tastes )

I left SoR because I couldn't handle the backstabbing that some of the other commanders that where left from the other guilds you mentioned, and if any of them commanders are still floating about on SoR then its going to be hard for them, as they where totally toxic for that community.

I was on SOR back in the T1 days. I played almost entirely in NA primetime as a member of TW, and when I wasn't running with them I was usually pugging alongside either Choo or FEAR. I remember GSCH as a guild being good at getting people into the maps who would otherwise have no interest in that part of the game, but beyond that I also remember you struggling to keep up with the compositions/builds/discipline of the dedicated WvW guilds.

If you guys are trying to recruit more people into WvW again, I wish you the best of luck, rebuilding is always hard. That having been said, if you want to bring SOR to the forefront of the WVW competition, you guys are going to need to take a more disciplined/build focused approach than what I've seen you do since coming back to the game a couple of months ago. If your goal is to recruit for the purpose of getting into T1, you're going to need to focus not just on more people, but developing a more min/max approach to your comps/gameplay as well.

Best of luck guys!Pnuemnos [TW guardian]

T1? No thanks really... for me I find T1 is a cluster!@#$@#$ of garbage mostly. Not near as much fun as the lower tiers where you can actually get some fights in without being steamrolled by map queues of blobs that insist they are the best because they can outnumber you by at least double and so on and so on. Truly I'm not salty about that... much... just not interested in it.

SoR was fine before Iron but they def helped counter some of the BG stack.

GSCH was active and nice? But they were probably one of the weakest guilds on the server. When they would fill a map we usually did poorly on said map because the better fight guilds couldn’t get in. Not the best fit for the competitive mentality back then.

Props to them sticking it out through the implosion.

Thank you Mysteriax.6049 and Bad Axxe#2937 for rallying the troops. You're gonna find a lot of hate directed at us (GSCH) along the way. I will tell you what I told them all those years ago, we're here to help but won't stand for toxic behavior. I applaud you guys for making the move to bring SOR back into the light and will do what we can to assist. As for JQ, I've loved playing with you guys. If there was no more SOR we'd be home with you guys for certain. You've been the most gracious host and we respect you guys a ton. Thank you for all your assistance with tips, builds and encouragement. That said I still do enjoy T2-3 more than T1 or T4. The toxic levels are at an all-time high on top or bottom. The sweet spot seems to be in the middle. Being a mercenary server for so long has actually been a blessing. We've been able to test the water with so many different servers and make friends with most of them. The part i find so funny is YEARS after those guilds left our server sending SOR on a one way trip to the bottom, they went to other servers, that currently reside on the bottom as well. This same group of people have traveled from server to server destroying the community, using it up, and throwing it away like yesterdays trash, time and time again.... yet the people who stuck with a server they believe in... from the beginning... through thick and thin even when things get hard are the weak and the cause of a servers demise. I think not. We're NOT the only server that experienced "That Alliance". The list of people who have encountered them grows by the day and we do not stand alone anymore. Yet years later they are still trying to point the finger at us...Gaiscioch still takes to the field every day. We do what we can to help. Wether its scribing upgrades for keeps or escorting yaks to upgrade a keep we work with our allies to fill whatever job needs to be filled with the tools we have available. So Mysteriax and Bad Axxe, just say the word and we'll be there to help.Foghladha
