SCAR Scrap rifle should be a kit!

I just recently started playing HOT and man, I love Scarp rifle, shotgun + flamethrower + granade launcher just perfect combo for engineer. And its mainly condi weapon, if it only was a kit...

With one small exception not counting the overheat ability, we kind of already have all of these abilities.

But just for the sake of having a discussion I really don't think we should get even more kits added than we already have. If our current kits get refined and updated a little bit there would be room for some interesting utility skills to add onto our kit's... uhm, kit. Personally I want more utilities like the exceeds and throw mine + toolbelt skill. These in general are fun and combine well with kits since they are somewhat rotational abilities at least in PvE.

Personally I think I'd use rifle if it had abilities more like the scrap gun, though probably altered to fit the rifle, like the flamethrower instead being multiple quick tight-cone-blasts in succession until the end being one solid blast with either incendiary or a bunch of bleed. I quite like the far-reaching cone blast on the 1. It's almost like the pistol 1, except not as meh since the bleed can actually hit multiple targets. It also has the leap from rifle, and the 'rusty shrapnel' is kind of like the net with the cripple + poison. Honestly pistol could probably use some improvements to begin with since it seems to be this strange half-condi weapon.

More kits? We didn't get any new kit since start, changes to the current kits don't count. Since we will never get a new weapon outside of specialisation, and actual weapon rebalance...lets be honest here, it will never happen, the least we can get is a new kit.Core engineer need something that can be called condi weapon, and adding something that will power up holosmith, like utility skills is bad idea.Scrap rifle is just cool and fit engi like a glove, shotgun, flamethrower and granade launcher in a single weapon, is a concept that engineer would come up with.

No self respecting Engineer call pistol a condi weapon of this profession, if anyone is going for condi they more likely go for granades kit, which apply more bleed even tho its more of the direct damage weapon.

Also I'm not going to discuss whether Engineer have or have not a condition damage weapon, cause thats not the point of this thread.I was pointing out that SCAR scrap rifle is so cool and so Engi that it should be a kit.

I wish rifle had skills like those, instead of whatever rifle is supposed to be now.

Don't know about the scrap rifle. However I would murder for a freezing gun.

Freezing Gun, Portal Gun, Gatling Gun, Laser Gun, Grapling Gun... there are MANY possible kits I would like to see added to our arsenal.
