GDchiaScrub.3241
Uh. I thought PoF did that, but I guess it exposed it more?
Gwaihir.1745
Honestly any class can react and increase the TTK. Yeah if you don't react you can be floored but so far only hits from stealth like stealthed clones or thieves truly provide the unseen 1 shot. The real issue im seeing is how poorly designed passive immunity is. (Endure pain, elxir s). No down state makes it blatantly obvious how out of line those traits are that a player can survive due to no action of their own. Hardcore players have LoL, Overwatch, etc if you want to weed out those who aren't blessed with super reflexes. Let those of us who are in the bottom 10% of reaction speeds have at least a shot of surviving.

Let those of us who are in the bottom 10% of reaction speeds have at least a shot of surviving.Reflexes can be trained, at least you can train yourself to understand how other professions you'll encounter will play and be able to anticipate what they'll do. This will help you react faster which will compensate for your lack of reflex speed. It'll need a bit of work, but hey, you shouldn't get what you haven't earned anyways, and this way feels more rewarding. With this will also come that "shot at surviving" and it will probably be a lot more reliable than surviving after you got in downstate and expecting to be near someone who saves you all the time.I like the downstate-stomp mechanic of this game. Unfortunately with all the ress creep, aoe cleave and powercreep in general the stomping part mostly lost it's purpose in the game. I don't want the downstate to go away, but those issues really need to be fixed for stomping to make any sense (besides niche usage) and downstate to not be something that favors way more some professions compared to others. Straegen.9534
BlueMelody is correct. A good number of players enjoy games like these because they are not fully twitch based. At my age I can barely hang in Overwatch but I am able to dish out pain in WvW because the slower game play leans more toward strategy.
