Wupwup ascended amulet?

Recommended Posts

I can't find how to craft a Wupwup (celestial, ascended) amulet. I scoured the Wiki with no luck. This page: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Equipment_acquisition_by_stats implies (about 2/3 of the way down) that the recipe can be had from a master jeweler, but he doesn't have any ascended recipes (which makes sense, since Jeweler only goes to 400).

So, can you actually craft an ascended amulet? Celestial/Wupwup, that is.

Unfortunately no, you can only craft ascended armor and weapons with a very few exceptions. Some ascended trinkets can be aquired through specfic achievements though.

Else ascended trinkets need to be bought for laurels or guild tokens, available at a vendor in every gamemode with a discount using a specific mode currency should you choose to buy it in Fractals, PvP or WvW.

The aforementioned 3 vendors can also sell you versions of these without pre-selected stats, so you might want to get these as you can pick celestial (WupWup) stats and use an item to reset them should you later decide to change your build, instead of getting a whole new set.

All that said and done, there is a craftable celestial amulet in the game called "The Triforge Pendant", but since it's so much easier to get amulets from the vendors with the exact same stats it's more of a memorabilia at this point. Also comes at the steep cost of about 470 gold.

Tl:dr

No. Ascended amulets need to be bought, although the exotic ones you can craft will do just fine until then.

You can buy them from these vendors:https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Laurel_Merchant

Preferably go for this version:https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Mist_Pendant

Or just pick the ones that look cool. It doesn't really matter, as you will be awesome either way once you wupwup your enemies with your new fancy ascended amulet.

@"Daddicus.6128" said:Thanks! I think the page just needs a tiny tweak. (It currently has columns for armor, weapons, & trinkets all together. Trinkets should probably be separate.

The info is there, in the 3d & 4th paragraph of https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Equipment_acquisition_by_stats#Ascended_equipment

In the large Crafting table, the Ascended rows contain only armor and weapons.
