Axe and Torch for Mirage (Mesmer)

Hi, which is the best Axe and Torch skin for Mirage (Mesmer)? I can't find good skins :'(

The Alchemist weapons, Touch of Madness, Veilrender, legendary weapons, Astral Stellar weapons.

Tormented Torch. Reaver of the mists.

I use Stellar Beacon and Astralaria

I love the steam skins for my human mesmer, also the torch isn't as harsh and glaring as the other skins can be. I really hated that on Soulbeast - the elite effects plus torch light was annoying during game-play. As for the mesmer Mirage - I don't consider there to be a lack of choices, but I guess if one hasn't unlocked that many skins yet, it may appears so.

Of course, there's no accounting for taste.

I like the alchemist skins.

i use Astralaria with ley line torch skin

Astralaria + (Gold) Fractal torch

If not Astralaria then the Luminous Labrys is also a nice skin.

The alchemist skins look amazing with a mesmer pink color.

i enjoyed using reaver of the mists before i got my astralaria

anything goes with torch, but i liked the ebonhawk/lionguard torches because they do not have a flame.

I like weapons with a ribbon on it, for when I'm twirling and leaping.

Bloodstone axe is probably one of my favourite axe skins because it both looks interesting and isn't over sized like most axe skins, normally its one or the other.

Long-term achievement points goal, the Pinnacle Reaver.First weapon skin granted at 29,000 AP.

As for torches, I like the default Celestial Ascended skin. Has a nice purplish-blue glow.

Veilrender (Skinned over Astralaria) and Zenith Flame is what I use on my Mirage.

FWIW, I think the Touch of Madness still looks great on a mesmer, as it has a very spellcastering vibe to it, even if the color isn't quite right.

When I saw this topic, I thought someone was talking about a DPS build using Axe/Torch (for some reason). I was gonna ping my build and say I use that DPS wep combo too :p

Without wishing to necro too much, can you ping it anyway? I got the new torch skin from the contest collection and I'm undecided on axe or sword to pair with

The latter being easiest to obtain for vets but in retrospective the most time consiming (5yrs y’all).

Sure. I tweak it every once in a while to test other traits. Notice I dont use Elusive Mind or Sword....2 items that people complain is what makes mirage "OP". I lack any decent condi cleanse so I need to play off my mobility and de-targeting and since Jaunt was nerfed with an increased CD, I now use it sparingly as my condi cleanse instead of a mobility skill.
