80%+ packet loss to hop in paris all week

is this something anet fixes or do i call and complain to my isp? idk what to do, but it is impossible to play this game...any /ip i ping plot in WvW uses this paris hop

That's a Tier 1 (I believe) backbone issue, and you could ask your ISP to contact them about the issue. You could also ask ArenaNet to contact them; it's halfway between the two.Or, you could try a VPN to take a different path.

Hop 7 is only dropping packets that are directed to itself. If it were dropping all packets, hop 8 would also be showing a similar loss. There is potentially a problem between hop 9 and 17 with that 2% loss however, but most of Amazon blocks pings, hence the 100% losses, so you can't actually see how it ends up. Your ping in-game should be around 130-160ms.

my ping is about that yes, but even with a small group of 10-20 and traveling to an objective/fight people are teleporting and warping around like its normal...during small fights with enemies my ping spikes to 250+ with the terrible skill lag or temp freezing where all the skills and dmg numbers come at once...fights at the same size are impossible, a couple days ago a fight with a bigger group sees my in game ping be 4 to 5000+, sometimes it will disco me sometimes it wont, either way its impossible for me to play gw2 right now...even roaming solo is finicky or taking a camp, it just starts to stutter and lag

sometimes this type of thing just happens every so often, but its been at least a full week like this for me at all hours of the day, every day

even if complaint to ISP probably wont provide much help, they probably just forward the complaint to the company that owns the routing center
