Bounty fatigue

What is everyones thoughts on bounties?.

I'm concerned that quite a few of my Specialisations won't be completed due to bounty trains running within maps which tend to be limited. What i can't understand is when you complete the Bounty once you have to do it again for countless other achievements.I find the process frustrating and pointless, doing it once should be enough for everything.

Thought?

If all the achievements were completed after doing a bounty once, then there would be even less incentive to do more bounties, which would mean fewer trains.

The grind for various items tied to bounties is a little excessive. I was appalled at how many elegy mosaics (and, therefore, legendary bounties) are required for this Grieving accessory:

You need 300 for it. Add to that the ridiculous RNG of their drop rate (I was mostly getting the low end 2-3 per bounty), and how seldom the bounty trains run during the times I'm on, and I became so frustrated that I decided to go for this one in WvW, instead, with a much more sane (and fun!) acquisition method/rate:

I'm glad there are reasons for people to go back - even very grindy reasons. It keeps them semi-supported by the larger game community. I've been doing them A LOT (have all of the associated achievements and most of the skins) and still enjoy them. They are probably tied with mounts as my favorite thing about POF.

No reason to go back to the PoF maps!!!"Later a sink is added for some ascended trinkets, a method is put in place to grind the maps for Legendary currencies and of course there is a whole fifth mount tied to going back and doing many of the hearts, events and bounties a second time.....and we get posts like this.

Posts exactly like this.If you somehow think the grind in GW2 is a new thing I strongly suggest making any of the last 4-5 Legendaries. Or a few of the Stellar weapons.This is what people asked for.

So why so salty in your original post, i was asking for thoughts on the bounty situation not an answer with an aggressive tone.
