Do you think these two classes need to have an extra effect from Alacrity ?Something like :• Thief recover 1 initiative every 0.8 second, instead of every 1 second, while under alacrity boon• Revenant recover 1 extra point of energy every 1 second while under alacrity boon

Alacrity reduces cooldowns, initiative and energy have nothing to do with that. With that logic astral force, adrenaline, heat and life force should be affected by alacrity.

Thief already has plenty of ways to get initiative and rev skills are affected by alacrity anyways.

They do. And only place where thief has this Buff almost permanently is in raids and fractals, and thief rotation doesent use other weapon skills than 1 and 2. So its not that needed Buff for thief.

It's a needed buff for thief.

Agree that thief needs Buff, but that isnt it. Like i said Even if we had Buff that our ini would regenerate 500% faster our dps in raids would still be under others.

The "problem" with thief is that its not designed for high sustained DPS. Its a Burst damage class designed to setup and drop a lot of damage in one go, and overwhelming defenses in the process. Daredevil was designed to work around that by turning every action into damage, but largely gets ignored because the auto chain is more reliable in terms of sustainable damage. That got doubled down on with DE Malice rework, making it even more burst focused.

They can't fix this "problem" because its parts Thief's Core design. So the only option is to make a new Espec that focuses on sustain damage, while shutting down Stealth and disengage synergy so thief can't capitalize on both in PvP.
