Cheap Runes till i got trapper/nightmare?

i'm gearing my Renegade atm. So untill i got full ascendet viper armor what would be a good alternative to put into my carrion exo armor? Weapons and trinkets are already viper.Should i go for krait or balti? Or maybe something else?

berserker is a good alternative for runes until you get those. And trapper is crafted and bound.

Are you planning on raiding/fractals with it before you get full ascended with nightmare trapper? If not Traveler runes are great for Renegade for solo play and it’s only a 1.5kish dps loss over nightmare/trapper when solo (13.5kish vs 15kish)

Nah i'm starting content up to T3 first when i have full ascended gear and the runes. I'll give traveler a try.

any rune set that gives generic Condi Duration increase (ie not specific to a single condition) is good to use until you get nightmare/ trapper.

6x Superior Rune of the Lich or 6x Superior Rune of Lyssa, if you have slightly more gold, choose 6x Superior Rune of the Mad King as the best.

Traveller runes are nice, cheap and very effective

2 Trapper (Might as well just buy these now since you need them)/2 Lyssa/2Lich would be the most generic condi duration... Krait could be okay if you use short bow a lot... Tormenting could be okay if you use mace/axe/mallyx a lot (although I don't think those are very cheap actually since they take watchworks to make.) Since you're on carrion armor, which has no expertise, you might actually be better off just going all out with Krait and focusing on shortbow/bleeds as long as it's super temporary, since you'd get a lot more free duration doing that.

But really, just go farm out those 4 Nightmare runes, it takes like 2 days... You could probably even do it in one day if you tough it up and do Aether path too.
