Retaliation

Shouldn't retaliation have a melee range rather than the source skill range?Did you know that retaliation can destroy all of the weapons in the game?Having the right amount of Firebrands, everything can be destroyed at a distance.

Retaliation in itself do little damage. It's the consecutive hits that ramp it up, and only a very few professions have the ability to do this from range. Also it's a boon and therefore prone to removal. Or can be countered by outlasting, since it's not that common and those who can stack it mostly can only on themselves.

If it requires a coordinated effort from the enemy to do this, it should require a coordinated effort from your team to counter - it's just fair play.
