What's going to become of EoTM?

I took a long break. Not sure what was changed but EoTM is pretty much dead now it seems. I am curious if there are any plans to this feature in the near future?

The main change was that WvW rewards were enhanced and those benefits only accrue through the original maps. Accordingly, people who play for just the rewards either gave up on WvW or moved to traditional WvW. There are some reasons to go to EotM, but for the same effort, traditional is almost always better.

XP being removed from WvW, along with skirmish rewards being added, killed it.

Pretty sure there are no plans for it. Anything that may be done is just better off being thrown in regular wvw to have everyone test.

The only reason it exists now is probably because it would take more effort to remove it than to just leave it.

They killed it when they stopped exp gain from it.People used to use it to gain exp and train before starting propper WvW. Now it's as dead as Silent Hill.Shame really..But they had their reasons.

Wait and see if it gets use with the alliance changes, if that happens to get 4 map locks going again on a regular basis, since they can change the amount of servers available. There is no reason to change it at this time.

What's going to become of EotM is the same thing that it already is. Nothing.

I don't want skirmish rewards being added to it because that would destroy WvW but I'd be happy with xp gain being put back just for it.

Nothing needs to be done with EoTM, its fine as is.

remove canons from red keep so we can gvg there without those stupid things respawning in the middle of a fight
