Kraggy.4169
So Dulfy's guide says this:"You must have completed thie Forearmed is Forewarned story instance to unlock the High Roller achievement that allow you to talk to Gorrik at Domain of Kourna."I have completed the instance (after having to re-set it due to it hanging first time) and it's now shown complete in my journal and I'm now on Tactical Triage, but Gorrick won't give me the quest he simply repiles "I'm working".What else is needed that Dulfy doesn't mention? Jora.5471
You are not done with the story step. You only finish the instance. There is another person you need to talk to which is inside the house in the Allied encampment. When your story step on the top right says "Guns, Germs and Steal," then you can talk to Gorrik to start your mount quest.
Kraggy.4169
Since Dulfy completing the instance is all that's needed and I took her at her word, no mention of the next step "Tactical Triage" which is now where I'm at .. I'll go off and do that and see if Gorrik will talk to me.Thanks for replying.[edit]And as you expected, after completing Tactical Triage Gorrik now offers the quest .. Dulfy's guide is missing that important step.

I did check out Dulfy... During beetle juice... I mean i was expecting to find a region called Palawa's Benevolence, and couldn't find it... Turns out that's a POI (pretty sure they have the name of the poi and the region swapped though), and i missed it. So it has it's place, but honestly, its way more fun to do it on your own than just blindly follow Dulfy. Also pretty sure it has a few mistakes in the guide, since a lot of people were doing weird stuff, like camping that one golem near the bridge to Gandara, when there's a bunch of them throughout the Front Lines. Holykitten.3064
Taken from Dulfy;“You must have completed the Forearmed is Forewarned story instance to unlock the High Roller achievement that allow you to talk to Gorrik at Domain of Kourna. After that (speaking about the Forearmed is Forewarned instance), talk to the Sunspear first to start the Tactical Triage step of the story and make sure you don’t wander around the map and trigger other events. Go straight to Gorrik.”You must’ve misunderstood while reading this, but it’s all there. You get out of the Forearmed/Forwarned instance, talk to the Sunspear (you’re placed directly in front of the building facing said NPC) which completes Tactical Triage, then speak to Gorrik. But, glad you figured it out, happy collecting!

First, she didn't mention which sunspear (the map is crowded with them and people don't always go to the first thing they see on the map). And second, you don't have to avoid starting other events; you just have to complete any that you did start before Gorrik will talk to you. She's not wrong, just didn't fill in some gaps. (Understandable because it's impossible to identify all possible cases in just a few hours.)

That’s why it’s obvious which Sunspear. But sure, agree to disagree. If you feel like Dulfys wording is misleading, you should converse with her, and not on this forum. That’s why it’s obvious which Sunspear. But sure, agree to disagree. I'm not complaining, as you seem to think. I'm pointing out that there was room for misunderstanding based on the phrasing. So it's understandable why the OP wasn't sure what was going on.Dulfy's phrasing is based on the idea that one reads her guide first, before reaching Kourna. If didn't, and started wandering about before visiting Gorrik, there's nothing in the text that makes it clear what to do: there's no obvious Sunspear (starred or otherwise). Maybe "misleading" itself is a misleading word. My point is that there's a hole in the description and so the OP won't be the first nor the last to come to these forums to ask if something is bugged. If you feel like Dulfys wording is misleading, you should converse with her, and not on this forum. Why? If I was interested in improving a guide, I'd help out the wiki. I simply think it's incorrect to imply that the OP didn't do a good job of reading. Holykitten.3064
I’m pretty sure most people who write guides, write them as clearly as they understand, as if they were the person who needed the guide. I’m guessing a majority of users who used Dulfy had no problems with the language used in said guide.Dulfy states that you mustn’t run around after talking with the Sunspear and go straight to Gorrik, because he brushes you off for however long into the story, or per micro-arc or even until you complete it entirely, there is nothing you can do until whatever triggers it has passed, which is why that sentence is there. There is a reason for every sentence in her guide, and “skimming” for the sake of speed winds up with posts like this imo.
Zushada.6108
I think we need to keep in mind, Dulfy isn't as active in this game as she once was and balances 3 or 4 others at the same time. Often she has guidies or ppl in the community give her the information to post so she may have simply been trusting a trusted source who made a mistake. Also, she gets the guides posted as soon as the content is launched. In this episode, she says that it was hard to write accurately bc of DCs. So she was trying to do what she does and get the guides out first but, like everyone, had tech issues.
