Pof PVE mace and shield build?

Hello there

Could someone recomend me a guardian PVE mace and shield build!? To open word (por) I know it is not the most powerful weapon but I really enjoy use them!

There are a couple of problems here. Mace is a support weapon, so the damage will always be limited, regardless of build. Then, firebrand is a condi spec, so you are incentivised to build in a certain way. Now, the good things, firebrand brings a lot of quickness, which is a tremendous help for mace's slow animations. Additionally, mace/shield give you 2 aegis skills, that will enable your quickness traits.

You can make a very effective build, actually, with condi gear, and using these defensive weapons for survivability. But to be honest, in practice, this translates to Tome of Justice doing all the heavy lifting, and combined with Radiance, it recharges with every kill, so it will always available. Your real weapons will be more of your backup. If you are ok with that, it might be an enjoyable experience, but if you really crave to smack faces with your mace instead of burning them with a book, this won't be the build for you.

I took this build out into HoT maps and soloed the Champion Hero Point mobs. Also ran him around Lake Doric and rarely saw his health drop below 80% while fighting two, three, or four mobs at a time.

If you want a more rounded build, you can aim for the Marshal's set that becomes available in the first and second zone of PoF, and switch out Honor for Zeal.
