Asking the map to show you the location of the daily (and possibly other things)

I'm sure we all know that everyday there is a jumping puzzle or mini dungeon daily. I'm sure many of us use the function to have the map show you where the location is. It zooms to the location and circles it for you. Ok, great. I want to go there... but wait, you can't go there because for some reason it zooms you all the way back out. I'm not sure what the point of this is or why anyone thought this was a good idea. If I ask the map to show me how to get to a location there's a high probability that I want to go there.

If you see a WP nearby, you can double click on it quickly and teleport there. I know it's annoying but it's what I do.

As stated above, if a Waypoint is near, I just use that to get near; if not, at least I know where on the map the location sits.

Thanks, I've tried clicking on the one it is showing you but I guess that doesn't work. I'll try that trick next time.

It works when I'm double-clicking the wp. But I too wish they fixed it. Why the unnecessary extra zoom out and closing of map. Especially when I choose to do my daily on a char that doesn't have that wp, and I'm not allowed to place a personal waypoint at that location.
