alez.2137
Hello,Given the obscene damage reports im reading about the deadeye, I think that devs, or an external team should seriously start working in something like simulationcraft. For those who does not know what it is, this is their description: "SimulationCraft is a tool to explore combat mechanics in the popular MMO RPG World of Warcraft. It is a multi-player event-driven simulator written in C++ that models raid damage.". I dont want to give them publicity, I just want to make you know that a tool like that is doable, and would be wealthy for the community and the game, as it will expose, with precisión, which builds are overperforming and which ones underperforming.I am firmly convinced that if a tool like this exists in GW2 we wouldnt' be at the point we are. Getting reports of dd doing 60k spikes on single target, this is pretty ridiculous imho and needs immediate hotfix.
Tanner Blackfeather.6509
Just to be clear, that 60k spike was on a downed character with quite a bit of Vulnerability. That'll inflate any damage numbers.
Randulf.7614
Would it though? Given that players who play WoW give the same criticism of its classes, I'm not sure this tool would make much difference I like the principle though, it may just be case of not factoring in the creativeness of player theorycrafting.
