Thiefs are assassins, special operations, pickpockets, and dark alley middle of the night bruisers. We do not need pet like mechanics or pets in general. Ele summons elemental creatures, so it goes with the theme. Thief has a theme of what I described which generally indicates no pets, so if you want a bird pet, then I say stick with ranger. Sobx.1758 Posted September 25, 2017 Share Posted September 25, 2017 Summoning undead as a necro (you understand what "NECROMANCER" is, right?) or ELEMENTALS as ELEMENTALIST is a no brainer. Having a hawk or similar animal companions is assigned (rightfully) to ranger and it should stay this way. Thief -including deadeye- doesn't need any summon.
