Susy.7529
Is there a way to hide (or reduce) party icons? They occupy more than half of my screen and make targetting annoying as hell (often resulting in targeting a party member instead of a mob). This is my actual situation: https://imgur.com/a/rggIWWZ :(
rng.1024
Yes there is :) Press f11 to enter the options menu, scroll down until you find the "Groups" category and check the box for "Simple Party UI". This makes it so that only the basic and relevant information for every party member will show on your screen. This also works if you are in squad, although you have to manually click the squad arrow and uncheck "Show as grid" - this then allows you to just see your subgroup like it is your party. While you're at it, you also should check the checkbox (f11 again) that enables thick health bars for your party, as this let's you identify every player on screen currently in your party/subgroup by them having a thicker health bar than the rest and therefore makes it a ton easier to support them.It will feel weird at first because there won't be character portraits anymore, but will be well worth it when you get used to it and can focus on the fights instead. SoulSin.5682
If you haven't tried yet you can also try to set "Interface Size" to Small.
