    People hating on Spiteful Renewal and Signets of Suffering are out of your minds.

    Those traits are amazing on power reaper.
    Renewal bumps Suffer's heal value by 20% and removes a condition + generates life force, and Signets of Suffering + SotL and frees up Unyielding Blast in Soul Reaping which is just superior to Bitter Chill in every way which Renewal replaces, plus SotL is permanent movespeed which the reaper otherwise doesn't benefit from in its already-hard matchups, such as thief, spellbreaker, and scourge.

    I've repeatedly proven mathematically that Deadly Strength and Corruptor's Fervor are strong traits to which most of the necro community just says "no u" because they refuse to acknowledge DM can be good in the right build, since most are just whining about PvE performance, which of course the tanking line isn't going to be useful for.
    The minion traits are literally why DM is bad. Soul Comprehension could just use QoL to be 20% increase in LF gained from all sources (not just deaths) and the line becomes amazing. Otherwise it's just Unholy Martyr that truly sucks, mostly because it puts shroud on cooldown.

    For thief, add Death Blossom and Dancing Dagger to the list. DB being trash is one of the sole reasons D/D is borderline unplayable in the PvP formats. Condi 3spam shouldn't even be a build and is easy to shut down. DDagger just has limited use outside of trying to gun down a foe running away by spamming it or to pop an aegis.
    Extra emphasis on Signets of Power, too. It's not even good for clearing trash mobs in PvE. It was better before they reworked it, and SoP prior to its rework was already a meme...

    You sure that Sniper idea is as good as you thought it was gonna be?

    Signets trait IS useless. In pve you will take the dmg buff, in PvP the corrupt + extra dmg. Sotl is basically a wasted skill slot. I'm always happy to see people run it. They are the ones dying the fastest in wvw roaming.

    And renewal is good. Yes esp with consume conditions. Consuming all conditions for health, getting vulnerability then consuming vulnerability for more health. But it doesn't do anything with suffer. Not to mention not giving you lf.

    Unyielding blast is nonsense as you don't get the vulnerability outside of shroud. Bitter chill is just much better because you can trigger it easily out and inside of shroud.

    Scourge is a hard matchup? Lol.
    I eat scourges before i go to the restaurant with my reaper.

    Lul nice joke man. Deathmagic being good outside of open world pve minion mancer. Corrupters fervor sux esp now. Because almost noone is playing Condi anymore and the thoughness increase isn't meantionable.
    And deadly strength doesn't synergise with corrupters fevor. You don't get more power, the more thoughness you get from corrupters fevor. Same with armoured shroud. So it sux as well. Also you don't want to overcap a certain amount of toughness which is 2600-2800.

    But as you cannot keep corrupters fevor up all the time, it's bad as well. As long as you don't attack someone that's up to 300 toughness less which is sometimes the point of surviving or being oneshot.

    I think some of these need to be removed from the list, based on classes that I know.

    Elementalist
    Signet of Air - This is a top notch stun break thanks to a short 20s cooldown. Ele signets are actually rather good now and make a very strong core build, and this is the ideal stun break for that build.

    Guardian
    Skills:
    Mantra of Truth - Good for PVP and for carrying groups through mobs of trash. Combined with "Solace," makes the Turai Ossa fight almost trivial.
    Traits:
    Perfect Inscriptions - Suffers from Guard signets being poor, would be a better trait if the signets were updated. Also suffers from "No Contest" syndrome compared to the other two traits.

    Necromancer
    Skills
    Summon Bone Minions - Still good in a MM build, double the trait synergy.
    Spectral Wall - Situational uses when mega CC is needed for break bars
    Well of Darkness - Good AOE condi damage when combined with Chilling Darkness (curses) and Chill of Death (Reaper)
    Traits:
    Spectral mastery - Spectral skills are still very strong on Core, but Core sucks, so this trait suffers only by extension.
    Dhuumfire - Are you insane? This is a KEY ability for any condi dps necro.
    Unholy Martyr - This is an excellent LF generation tool. It's only downside is that it's in the Blood tree, and if anyone is spec'd blood, they will probably be taking one of the other two options. It's actually a great trait on it's own merits, just very badly placed.
    Flesh of the master - Key to some very tanky builds. Synergizes like crazy with "Rise!"
    Soul comprehension - Actually pretty good for a minor. Bigger issue is that LF from nearby deaths is a terrible mechanic that makes balancing Shroud impossible, and this trait should thus die with it.
    Unholy Sanctuary - Great trait for Newbies, could lead to some good Core sustain builds if Core is ever fixed.
    Spiteful Renewal - Good on it's own merits, especially handy for a Reaper shout build; only suffers from a "no contest" syndrome with "Spiteful Talisman"

    Noone uses it though. It had some uses in core in wvw, but those espec skills are just way better

    You do realize that chilling darkness triggers only 2 times from this well? That's 4 stacks of bleed. Not really good as dmg. Better take epi for that.

    That's right i think. This should definetly be fear of death getting reworked

    On core it sucks, reaper is okayish but not main dmg source and on scourge it's still nerfed

    Spiteful talisman isn't the contest. It's bitter chill. Enemies having no boons is almost impossible cause every class has crazy boonspam other than necro. And the CDR isn't that much on axe.

    If renewal would work differently with shouts than it does with consume conditions it would be good on shout builds.right now it's not.
    It's triggering after your heal triggered. So if you are poisoned, the heal from healskill gets reduced and then you remove the position afterwards to get a little bit more health

    All thief main-hand weapon skill 3: Stab, Repeater, Twisting Fangs
    These skills can't be used unless you purposely don't equip an off-hand weapon and loose the stat gain from it, additionally, dual wield skills are just better versions of these skills, flanking strike, unload, and death blossom respectively
