Derm.4932
Is Anet aware of the tracking issues with this skill? It's been bugged since launch. In PvP it misses more than it hits because the tracking against moving targets is probably the worst I've seen of any skill in this game. For such a big issue with a weapon skill it should have been fixed 5 years ago. Its such a shame too because it actually does a ton of damage but is completely useless in pvp because whether or not it hits is basically random. Lahmia.2193
This is a slow moving projectile problem unfortunately. There's quite a few skills that cannot hit their target, if it is moving and not point blank range.
Derm.4932
I think it's a combination of it being both slow and one of those "terrain hugging" skills as opposed to a standard projectile. They should just convert it to a normal projectile and up the velocity if its still not fixed.
Yannir.4132
It's not a bug, it's a feature. You aren't really supposed to use it at range even though you technically can. Why are you using Torch in PvP anyway?
Derm.4932
Its not just the misses because people are outrunning it. A lot of times it literally misses even though it goes directly through them. Its the same problem that deflecting shot had before they improved the tracking. Alot of random obstructs as well. Even when that bug is eliminated, the velocity should be increased because AD strafing to avoid projectiles is ridiculous, and even moreso when it works at 600 range
Julius Seizure.4985
Torch 4, Guardians Flame, keeps ticking burn even after it becomes a roll-over skill and is removed by being thrown. Maybe we don't have Anet look at this skill? Mmmmm-k?It is super effective at melee range, where it should be.

There's a reason why its the least used weapon in pvp. And your opinion regarding balance isn't an excuse to leave a bugged skill bugged. That's ridiculous. Are you trying to say that fixing it is going to make it overpowered in PvE? Because if so, lmao. PvE is literally irrelevant in this discussion, hence why I specifically mentioned PvP in the original post. Did you bother reading past the title? Fixing it changes absolutely nothing about guard/DH in instanced PvE. And your recent response seems to imply that it's an inferior offhand in PvP. Is that correct? So then why are you against fixing the bug that is preventing it's viability in PvP and will literally not matter in PvE? There's literally no reason to not fix this bug.You act as if fixing a tracking bug that basically only affects PvP is going to give Guard increased dps in PvE or something. Arcaedus.7290
I would rather they focus on changing/buffing torch 5 as it's currently one of the most useless skills in the entire game.
