One thing I dislike about the 5th mount

What I really dislike about the 5th mount is how it made my gliders obsolete.

I like how the 5th mount works. I just wish I didn't make so many glider purchases if they were going to be obsolete.

My suggestion:

The 5th mount would get a 4th mastery- Gliders will now move the same way as the 5th mount. This mastery would be disabled in Jumping puzzles.

5th mount can't ride updrafts or leylines. It won't make gliders obsolete.

Can you gain in altitude with it? No. It doesn't replace the glider.Do you really think anet would actually kill an entire game feature just to make some more momey off of mount skins?Maybe. But they didn't.Because it's far better to make money off of mount skins and glider skins.

I haven't maxed out my masteries for movement on it yet, but I'm finding it trickier for precise navigation. They both have strengths and weaknesses and I'm fine with that. Plus it's a wasted mastery for people without HoT. While that's not a compelling argument as it would be optional, it's just not elegant design.

It doesn't kill gliding. 5th mount is far better for longer periods of air travel, while the glider is superior for more precise gliding. Additionally, you can't mount while in combat, so glider is still superior for tactical retreats.

Nor can u throw urself off a cliff while in combat to save urself with it. Wich u can with a glider.

Only thing I dislike of the 5th mount is its price xD

That is a very niche use. When I bought a whole lot of gliders, I didn't buy them for niche moments like updraft and leylines.
