Will we ever see Tattoo Armor?

Even as a Norn racial armor option, I think it would be a huge hit.

Asura could have holographic tattoos that are extended from the body a small degree.

Sylvari might have evolved chitinous regions of their bodies that simulate armor.

I'm not sure what the Charr could grow protruding horns to protect vital areas of their bodies.

I can't think of how a racial tattoo option would set them apart from the other races.

Right, GW1 offered the "non-armor" option and I can't believe that in the following 250 years the art was lost completely.

Why do the Norn and Asura have body tattoos and then immediately cover them up with armor, clothes, or other wardrobe items?

It's a fair question. I really like that monk armor a lot. I bet an updated version for GW2 would do well in the gem store.

GW1 Monk-style tattoo armor and Necro-style scar armor deserve a place in the GW2 wardrobe.

I’d love something like that

My GW1 necro was based off The Nameless One from PS:T. Considering what happened in PoF, I'd definitely recreate that character in a heartbeat if we had some scar armor.
