can you get collection items from bounties multiple times?

so, apparently, i got one of the items i needed for a collection from a bounty, but i didn't realize it until looking at it. i'm assuming i salvaged it at some point and completely forgot about it. however, i was wondering, is it possible to get that item from a bounty again if i kill it again?

If it's an item for a collection, it doesn't matter if you salvaged it - you still get credit for receiving that item in its collection.

Some of the collection items are "trophies" or "consumables", so you're supposed to sell/use them once you get them. As long as your collection shows that you've received credit, you don't need to get the item again.
