Its hands down amazing looking. Great work by the artist/s. But hey, its an outfit so not gonna buy it.

Finally an outfit that doesn't clip with my Sylvari's arms and legs (at least in the preview window). I'd buy it if I could hide the shoulder piece. :(

Yet another "almost bought but one critical flaw". This time, it's that ridiculous headpiece...I mean, it's not the Baby Face Pauldron, but it's equally an eyesore.

I bought it - very impressive in detail. The glow has its own dye channel, so can theme with professions nicely, and it leaves a short trail when you move.

That's my biggest hold up against buying outfits, the inability to mix and match.

outfits are so lame... i too woulda bought if it was armor pieces. Yeah I get it it takes longer to make armor piece sets but realize you will have more sales since people mostly HATE outfits.

I dont think it was sales which pushed them in making outfits, and well last armor set was added before hot id assume, i dont remember an armor set being added since i started playing, markets can change and evolve. I dont think anyone can say there isnt a market for armors.

They added armor with PoF.

I mean they have done in lw already cross armor weight skins they could do that for the gemstore armors as well and it would work nicely.

In my opinion, I prefer outfit over armor set. Armor set is way too restrictive and also, outfits are a bit cheaper, 100 gems less. You have an awesome looking medium armor set you like to buy from the gemstore, but your character can only wear light armor set. See my dilemma here? They should remove the weight restriction on armor sets. I mean outfits don't have restrictions regarding weight, so why not?

There are a lot of outfits I would buy if they were armor sets. But not being able to hide certain parts or mix and match turn me away from them.

A lot of times I like the whole outfit but want to use another helm (cat ears, devil horns, wizard hat, etc.), and that's what makes me not want to use outfits. :/

You see that neat outfit there and ud like to have those shoulders on your current mix. Same thing.

Arena net has already made skins that are the same for all classes while retaining the ability to mix and match. They could do it with their gemstore sets as well.

if u paint with metallic / red u notice that is basically a reskinned Rogue Balthazar outfit.

the details are par with legendarie armor.
