Hello everyone,

I run a fully geared Druid (but have other characters geared as well) and I am looking for a raid/fractal guild that runs around 7 or 8 PM Eastern time any day of the week. As strange as it is, I just can't seem to find a good group of people to run with regularly who are beyond "training"; but do not consider themselves "hard core." I am an open minded, easy going person; but I do prefer structured raid groups that keep discord convos focussed on raid mechanics during boss pulls and accept that people must sometimes die to learn. I have played GW2 since launch but really committed to end game in January 2016. I was an active raider in previous games and have found raids in GW2 to be quite a bit of fun so I would like to move past pugging and into a more static group. Too be honest, even if it isn't a static "raid team" I would be happy to find a guild that raids regularly and is looking to recruit good players to fill-in when needed.

Here is what I have done thus far:

With the exception of Wing 5, I have cleared all bosses, except KC/Xera and Deimos, at least once. KC and Deimos are tricky fights to pug, if you are not experienced, so although I have seen the mechanics for both, I rarely have an opportunity to attempt either. Recently I was in a group that worked through Xera mechanics and we were able to get her down to 10% . Oddly enough, it wasn't a DPS issue, it was a gliding to platform issue :astonished: But it is a really cool fight that I would like to run again. There are a couple of curious in-between boss fights e.g. the Trio that I have yet to complete but I have run Spirit woods and Twisted Castle.

Out of all the bosses I have cleared, I would say I am most experienced with MO, Cairn, Samarog, VG, Siege Stronghold (escort), and yes even Sloth. I would rather avoid Sloth but I am willing to take one for the team if needed  At the same time I am least experienced with Sab, Gors and Matt as I have only cleared them each once. I have also run a couple of unsuccessful Soulless Horror encounters back when it launched and have completed the River of Souls but would never consider myself experienced in W5; however, I am always willing to jump in and try.

With regards to Fractals, I have full 153 AR and have run T4 fractals for over a year now. While I wouldn't call myself an expert on mechanics, I am quite comfortable running with a group of good T4 players. I am not a believer in the meta build mindset for fractals but do like groups with a diversity of professions e.g. 4-5 different professions that compliment each other but do believe fractals are meant to be diverse rather than a raid team composition.

Although my priority at this time is PVE raid/fractal content from the WvW/sPVP perspective, I am on Crystal Desert. I have a Guild I like to run with but because I enjoy PVE content as well, my WvW guild would classify me as casual. It is always nice to meet others from the same server so I thought I would mention this just in case this is something you are looking for.

Feel free to message in game or here if you would like to chat,

Zushada

Hello,

I may have a guild you would be interested in. We are XHSA a community focused guild of 13 years that is also active in end game activities. We have about 140 members right now both casual and end game focused. If you are looking for a guild filled with friendly and social people that you could get into raids with, you would defiantly fit in here. You could defiantly join our casual raid Friday nights if the time is not to late for you and fill in some of those experience gaps. As far as the rest of our raiding......

We maintain a pool of Exp raiders, experienced in all bosses, minimum 75 LI, are required to have at-least 2 classes, and have been checked for DPS. Presently just over 30 people, many with all the CMs completed. This includes two static teams that run on various days of the week and usually have an opening for non-static players to fill. While we draw from the exp pool before the rest of the guild for our statics first, it is not all that uncommon that we also take on a newer person that has shown some promise in casual raids to get them some experience.

Mondays we start at 10PM Eastern and clear W5 and whatever call of the mist wing is that week. 90 min max time.Tuesday we start at 8pm Eastern and run the 3 remaining wings. 2 hour max time.Wednesdays starts at 8pm Eastern runs random wings for 2 hours. There could be a static druid spot opening up on this time slot.Friday is casual raids starts at 10PM Eastern runs for 90 minutes. These have no requirements other than having a meta build and are intended for newer raiders but anyone of any experience can join. We usually select and do a single wing and more if time is left over.

As far as fractals, most are usually ran at reset and are on a first come first serve basis. These are varying in requirements as some groups are looking to effectively clear the CMs with thier daily.

All this being said. I would not consider our guild a hardcore guild. We put community and people before everything else. Our members while they focus on pushing for the best the can, we are not elitist and do not welcome the attitude. If you are looking for a to pick up some experience on so bosses you haven't completed, an opportunity to fill on occasion, and generally a friendly community that is experienced in successfully completing the hardest content in the game, you will find what you are looking for here.

If this interests you, please check out our recruitment post on our website.

As this is a highly community driven guild we do have a short application processes. This is mostly a formality as we like to let our entire community view applications to get to know the people we are welcoming into the guild better as well as keep out the riff raff.

If you have any questions best way to get a hold of me is in game or the discord linked in our website.

Look forward to hearing from you,-Mireles

Thank you so much for the response. I will take a look and see if your guild will be a fit.
