If we've bought lots of a particular item on the trading post and they're waiting for collection with other stuff, we should be able to choose to take only all copies of that item into our inventory

Road markers only give swiftness when you click on them. They should instead give swiftness when you go near them

In the Palawadan event, all supply stashes disappear a minute after Archon Iberu dies. It should be changed to they only disappear when the city timer runs out

I've had lots of stashes disappear each time I do the event, sometimes as many as 10-13 stashes each time that can't be looted because they disappear

Can we have a standard +25% movement speed at lvl 80? Or just make +25% movement as the normal character speed?

It's just an unnecessary annoyance, and a pointless and outdated design too, especially when in-combat speeds reduce movement anyway. I'm sure it would be pretty painless to then just modify sources of +25% movement speed to other things more useful if it became standard for all characters...

I think all veteran players and Ranger lovers would rejoice if something like this were added to Sun’s Refuge or made into a purchasable lounge area... https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Lounge (Edit- More like a place where you can tame juvenile pets with a new ranger after you have tamed them once to unlock in your stable. Not suggesting to remove them from the pet window and force character to visit the stable to switch pets.)

    https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Zaishen_Menagerie_Grounds

"The Zaishen Menagerie Grounds is an explorable area where the Zaishen Order takes care of the charmable animals you have unlocked on your account. Charmable animals can be brought in from the wild, or purchased here and trained for you by the Order.
There are various climates in this one area that create the appropriate habitats for the charmable animals."

"The Zaishen Menagerie is account based, which means that any charmable animal you unlock will be available to all characters on that account, both PvE and PvP. You cannot, however, bring other players into your own menagerie, it is only for yourself and your heroes.

If you speak to Emryd the Tamer with an animal companion (pet) in your party, she will unlock yours or your hero's current pet at its current level and evolution tier and all lower tiers for that charmable animal. Similar to other pet tamers, she is able to take the current pet and release it, allowing you or your hero to charm another animal as a pet. Provided you have a Moss Spider Egg, Emryd can take it and unlock the Moss Spider.

Helena (Zaishen Keeper) will unlock the next tier of any charmable animal that is already unlocked, or unlock the lowest tier of any locked charmable animal from any campaign you own, at a cost of either a combination of Zaishen Coins and gold, or Balthazar faction."

    2) Only show armor/weapons where I haven't unlocked the skins.

Have the guild hall assembly device auto-queue all schematics in storage. please.

  • RisenHowl.2419RisenHowl.2419 Member ✭✭✭✭

You first have to use scribing to create schematics, then individually queue each one into the assembly device which then takes 30s to create.

for a stack of guild siege, that's a little over 2h of sitting in front of the assembly device and queueing 10 of them at a time. so for each stack, someone needs to sit at this machine and slowly add siege to it every 5 minutes for two straight hours.

seriously, this is not a hard fix. make it automatically queue any schematics in guild storage. No one should have to spend hours upon hours every week just to make siege so their guild can wvw.

  • I want the key bindings (1,2,...,9,0,f1,..,f5) to be character related. I use default key bindings because I switch chars frequently and have no time nor patience to change key bindings every time. The default key bindings makes the combat bad. Different builds requires different key bindings.

I've mentioned before about diff keybindings per class since I wanted to do the same, but I suppose it was never taken into consideration until now. I think that was back in 2k16/2k17. Would be nice to have though, I would definitely use a template for keybinds for diff classes [I suppose if you have specific preferences for keys on diff builds, that would be nice too, I can see where it'd be useful for me].

  • I am absolutely in agreement with this.

My scribe is currently the primary 'crafter of guild siege' and it is mind numbingly exhausting and frustrating when you are making stacks at a time. We go through it like candy (yes, we have a problem xD ) and at this point I generally have a time designated prior to reset to just sit there double clicking to add more to the queue. It sucks.

    Agreed.

Currently, I use a keyboard and mouse that allows the keys to be remapped which also works. This way I can switch around the layout without having do it through the GW2 UI.

  • I do not know the feasibility of my suggestion, but at face value it seems simple enough. Please add a checkbox in settings that will disable map chat specifically within the major cities. I very much profit from map chat in the open world, but within Lion's Arch and Divinity's Reach the map chat is 80% undesirable (and I am being conservative). Certainly it is possible to turn it on and off manually, but if the program could do this automatically, I think it would really improve the overall gameplay experience.

  • Bunter.3795Bunter.3795 Member ✭✭✭

I agree with this as well. Just let it process everything automatically. Best fix I see is to change the pve and wvw parts to automatic and manual. This way we could scribe all the guild siege and let it process automatically but if we needed a decoration or particular type of siege print, we could manually queue them up and let the manual queue be for either pve or wvw.

If life gives you melons, you're probably dyslexic.

  • I love this idea. Map chat is super useful... everywhere except the major cities. I can sometimes tune it out, but often it is obnoxious to ignore. It can be a bit of a hassle to turn it on and off.

  • Even tho the worst part is that PvP map chat is way over toxic and I don't understand how can some ppl endure playing PvE/PvP while listening to all of these rambling ppl just to distract ya? I srsly agree with ya. This needs to be stopped if they're smart enough.

  • Blocki.4931Blocki.4931 Member ✭✭✭✭

Since you have the option to do it yourself I don't think it needs to be added. Just make different tabs or click on a different one and perhaps disable chat altogether with a press of the # or the icon on the chatbox.

    Bite me.

  • I completely agree that making it where you have the option of it being automatic would really help. I know it would make it much better for those of us who not care for chat.

Probably. But I got a scroll for warping to the Grove directly, as it was the cheaper one, so that's what I use. :)

The essence of ebonhawk costs 33g, if you really hate map chat in the cities, that's the cost ya gotta pay. ;) (edit: and, uhm, the low, low price of 50 mystic coins to make the scroll)

All things considered obnoxious infusions is worse than map chat.

You can already do this yourself.

    • Create additional chat tabs, with different bits of chat enabled/disabled.
    • Swap to them as appropriate to your taste. (There's even a keyboard shortcut, although I find it simpler to click.)

For example, I have the following:

    • Base: Most things enabled, except for NPC/item, /emote, combat info.
    • Rosebud: to avoid spoilers for new story patches, disables all player chat, except party & whisper.
    • OJ: for concentrated focus in instant instanced parts of the game. It disables the chattiest of the guilds to which I belong.
    • Combat: combat info only
    • System: game messages plus NPCs

Hype is the path to the dark side. Hype leads to unfulfilled expectations. Disappointment leads to anger. Anger leads to disgust. Disgust leads to "oh, new shinies! I'm back!"

Add an asuran gate between Lion's arch and amnoon. It would be blocked like the portal leading to lake doric until you finish the first step on the story in amnoon / so blocked to cores/ hot. Currently I have to tp to guild hall, travel through Vabbi, The desolation, Elon riverlands, to finally arrive in Amnoon.

It's ONE manual step to switch chat tabs (once you've set up the tabs). I doubt that this impacts enough of the player base for Anet to devote resources to making this change.

If Anet did this I think the option to switch to a specific chat tab (which the player creates in advance) when you enter a specific type of map would be the best way to do it, because the extra flexibility makes it useful to a wider range of players. My first reaction to this topic was that I have absolutely no use for an option to disable map chat in cities and therefore I'm not interested in this suggestion. But reading further made me realise an option to switch to my 'Group' tab (with just team, squad, party, say and whisper enabled) when I enter a group instance would be very useful. And I'm sure other people are in a similar situation where the original request is too specific to be useful to them, but a variation which uses the same function would be useful.

I'm still not sure it's worth the time it would take for Anet to do it, especially because I'm not sure if there actually are different types of maps, meaning this could be automated, or if the game 'thinks' they're all the same and someone would have to create and manually update a list of cities, explorable areas, instances etc. so new maps can use this system. But if the option was available I would use it.

I think you're right, but I can also understand why some people would want it, and I don't think having the option is completely counter to the design. You could also say the point of going to a pub or bar is to socialise with other people there, but that doesn't mean everyone who goes there wants to talk to everyone else. I might want to just talk to the group of friends I'm going there to see and I'd be annoyed if every random person in there was joining in our conversation or if they were being so loud that I couldn't hear my friends speaking.

Same idea here. You might want to talk to just some of the people in the city (role-players for example), or you might need to go there for some reason (if you want to use the Mystic Forge and don't have a VIP pass you have to go to Lion's Arch) but you don't want to hear every single random thing everyone feels like sharing with the whole map.

  • Umm, I don't know about you guys but I've got a freeloading golem named M.O.X. in my home instance. As far as I know, this thing is literally a machine invented to free me (it's latest owner) from doing repetitive boring tasks. Since the effort I put in to acquire the thing apparently wasn't enough, I'd be willing to take on a some sort of "processor upgrade quest" or whatever in order to get him to do my home-instance gathering. Yes, I'd also be willing to buy something from the gem store to accomplish the same thing. If the quest based approach was used, I'd even be willing to let him keep 10% of the daily take to send back home to Webby.

    Crafting panels improvement.
There are people, who fond of collecting recipes, just like me. So i have some suggestions to craft organization.
I'm not the first, but craft panels still the same, so i want to repeat all suggestions and add my own ones:
    1) Left panel (list) should receive Favorite tab (or make it as new drop-list).
Mostly for cooking, though. Seriously, people that follows meta or earning gold have a small list of "approved" food. Searching each one it's a pain.

Favorites would be awesome, also for those that craft for a lot alts. Maybe have a favorite template for say crafting exotic armor where you select which stats you want and have a click build it.

    2) Re-organize list of crafted weapons/armors by hiding prefixies in sub-lists. For example: we have Pearl greatsword and all his variations hide in drop-list.
There is a problem though, cause there are unique skins like Corrupted or so. So it need some improvement too. But searching needed item in an ocean of prefixes is a pain (for not an 24/7 player for example).

It would also be nice if we could have a grid display for inscriptions or insignia recipes that mirror the mat storage so you can see if you have enough base mats for doing a set of soldier armor. As an aside, I really need to learn Photoshop to mock up screens.

    3) Auto-craft of subsequent ingredients (including auto-calc if not enough materials during process).

Maybe also add a checkbox to auto purchase any needed mats for the base ingredients.

Currently attempting all Legendary Journey collections at once.
