  • I have a very simple request: make it possible to hide repeatable hero points.

    You can turn off story. But you can't turn off hero points. If you are looking for events, these get in the way. A lot.

    This isn't a Quality-of-Life change. It's a feature update.
    If you are having trouble levelling artificer, this might be of use to you.

    Guides are not useful because the reality of the situation is it is poorly balanced, to begin with. The requirements for Artifice, in general, are much higher than any other profession. Since the supply is much lower and the requirements are much higher.

    In order for Artifice to be balanced with other professions in terms of leveling vs quantity of materials needed. It needs major reduction in materials in relation to how much materials are obtainable from the map. Which is only half of the ore. So it would make sense the requirements should be half.

    It seems you didn't follow the link, which is fine. Here is another one that shows you why artificer is not more expensive to level up than the other weaponcrafting disciplines. It draws prices real time, so there shouldn't be any arguments against relevance. But fine, I don't want to argue about that.

    What you want is still not a simple Quality-of-Life change, but a feature update. And of something that you only have to do once on an account, really.

    That is because it doesn't take buy back into account.
    Huntsman may "cost" the most but thanks to demand for power pistols which are used by Engineer \ Thief as well as Rifles and Longbows - you make a lot of money easily. Infact even low level power pistols sell for 30 silver.

    If we add buy back into consideration Artifice single handedly becomes so much more expensive compared to other crafting that - it gets its own league of over priced uselessness.

  • PvP match, Mesmer, Warrior, Thief Dead eye, elemental, Engineer. Everyone gets 4-9 kills but the dead eye gets 42.... figure it out... invisible spec is top of the line idiotic, sorry, not being mean, but who ever tested this balance? No one.... hopefully removing 100 devs will allow more smarter ones to replace then and then to actually think.... maybe we should test this before we just release it? Wow, what a concept there! How many PvP anet fails are there? Revenant is pathetically terrible now also.

  • Right now many things for making bags are so expensive compared to the bag sales that its almost a loss and some people are loosing money just to provide them. Not sure what you mean yet it sounds like someone who buys 300k of one item, then puts a huge buy order in an over priced range in order to sell the 300k bought at a profit, hoping to rig the system which many people do. This shouldn't be allowed, no one needs 300k mithril ore except to manipulate the system. Not sure what your specifics are though in my world I cant even craft and sell things for two weeks now because the price of supplies is already too high and no one has noticed enough to alter the prices so everyone follows that, under cutting and loosing money lately. For the most part i disagree. They just nerfed Istan hard, so, that will probably change and you will soon see results on that, which in my description has caused harm to economy even more, not help it at all.

  • When we have templates, which is soon!!!
    Can we have account wide armor and weapon templates as well, that we can place account bound armor and weapons (legendary and ascended) into it.

    For example
    a) Template 1: I'll name it "Light armor zerk set" - has a full set of zerker ascended or legendary light armor with weapons and trinkets
    b) Template 2: I'll name it "Light armor minstrel set" - has full set of minstrel ascended or legendary light armor with weapons and trinkets

    Let's say I'm playing my necro using "Template 1" (zerker set)
    I decide to do some T4's and use my chrono using "Template 2" (minstrel set), though the group gets an alacren and quickbrand
    I just load "Template 1" onto my chrono and I play zerker chrono
    No need for swapping items between characters or having multiple sets of the same armor and trinkets for different characters, because I can just switch armor templates!

    I've just broken my left alt key on my keyboard in a way that makes it impossible to split stacks of items in GW2 because the game only recognizes left alt (not the right alt) as the keybind for that action. I cannot remap the key inside my keyboard's software because it requires me to use the key in the first place which with the way the key is broken is impossible to do at the moment. I know this is a case that kind of is my own problem but the fact that this function is impossible to be keybinded ingame had me thinking how this could easily be a good QoL so here is my suggestion:

    - Add 'Split Stack' option under the right+click menu of an item in your inventory (or banks).
    - Add the option to keybind it under the Control Options.

    I believe that either suggestion would solve my issue as well as being a benefit to everyone.

    In WvW maps, we can only see who's tagged on the map we're on

    Please let us see who the tags are on all maps, so we don't have to go to each one to see

    The only way to see if a new skin is nice is to use a transmutation charge to change your item to it
    The preview window isnt good

    But if we dont like it, we have to spend another charge to change it back

    Changing an item back to its original skin should be free and not use a charge

    I know people loaded with legendary gear won't care much, but weapon/armor sets would be kinda sweet. Maybe ANet could even apply it to legendary armor/weapons so that it auto changes stats?

    Also, it would be really cool to be able to look at your main inventory, but not withdraw or deposit anything, as an option of your character inventory. Maybe put a little icon next to the wallet icon that allows you to click and view.

    Could we please have a choice in the game menu which, if we turn on, stops all windows appearing when we're in a fight. Stuff like the wvw map, inventory, guild window, they all get accidentally turned on during a fight, and it would be nice if they didnt

    Suggestion: Make collection achievements for every armor and weapon set. This would add some more core AP of varying difficulties and could be a small gold sink.
    I would also suggest "Weapon Enthusiast" collections for collecting all of (x weapon) in core Tyria.

    It works best if you pull off all of the other armor you are not previewing. I hate doing it, but until they let us toggle view pieces for previewing it is the best way to do it without consuming charges.

  • Please increase the speed for crafting mithril ingots and elder wood logs. I crafted Pharus over the weekend and spent something like 4 hrs just making ingots and logs for curios. I can see why some despise crafting.

  • Is there anyway to add the special passes to the novelty tab. Would be nice to have all my warp items in a specific spot.

    When mousing over / comparing items currently equipped stuff should be more pronounced. It's grey letters on the dark background.

    I have recently watched a few new player experience streams on twitch. And people get confused too often about this. The solution is also very easy - change the size and colour of two words. It might prevent new players from getting confused and maybe even deleting better equipment.

  • Ability to customize the ui by moving/dragging the boxes. One thin I don't like is the Party ui button that's always there. It should be a lot smaller and closer to the corner imo.

    New idea for easy GW2 Wiki search:
    Add a "search on gw2 wiki" option to item context menus(right click menu) to make it easier to visit that item's wiki page.
    I think this can easily be implemented if you just make it search the item's name.

    Please do not override PvE mount selection with the Warclaw after visiting WvW.

    Scenario: I always use the Griffon as my mount. I logged into the Bloodstone Fen map. Pressed X to mount up and jumped off a cliff. kitten. Warclaw. Oh, darn, I played WvW last evening. *Craters Warclaw into the ground below

    A QoL solution would be if the game remembered the last-used mount if PvE and WvW independently.

    The "in combat" functionality of the new Poison Master needs tweaking. Currently, the buff then poison do not trigger if you initialize combat with a beast skill.
    Primal Cry will trigger it because it is a multihit move, so you get put in combat before the end of the skill. The other Soulbeast F3s and most pet Beast skills do not trigger Poison Master if used to enter combat.
    It's an edge case but annoying. I suggest removing the in-combat modifier as the proc is tied to pet and SB cooldowns.

    If we're in wvw helping to take a place like a castle or keep, and then we have to go to another map to rescue another place, we don't get wvw exp when the ppl on our team who stayed behind finally take it

    We only get exp when we're on the same map

  • Not sure if this has been said or not, but could you maybe look into doing a dye overhaul? Part of what makes Fashion Wars hard is the fact that it only allows you to dye your clothes based on what section square you put it on. Could you give us more control by adding more color sections to the clothes and have us be able to manually color them by clicking on those parts instead of making it so that several parts will always be dyed even if the color you want doesn't look good in that particular section? For example, I want the ability to color the glowy, circular parts of my Savant chest piece, but I can't because it's only one section that changes its color, but it also changes the color of several cloth sections. I hope I wasn't too confusing, but I thought a coloring overhaul would be a nice QoL change.

    Until I was able to get my cloth legendary armor set for my ele, which took a ton of WvW gameplay and real money, I carried around 2 sets of ascended armor and weapons to change between a full minstrel build and a cleric/magi hybrid build. Mostly to switch up between Wvw/Pve. Took up a lot of inventory space, and was tedious to switch between. Now that I have legendary I don't really need to do this other than a few trinkets and rings. Would have been nice to have a set system to switch between, but I'm sure as you mentioned in your comment below about the inventory viewing suggestion, it's a monetization issue with ANet. Meaning, they'd rather have us buy more inventory slots.....

    True. We need something that allows for a preview of grabbing weapon, stowing weapon, in use, and screen effects. There should also be something for that with all of the auras now available.

    The workaround I use for weapons is using the wardrobe view that just displays all of the skins both locked and unlocked. Then right-clicking the weapon icon and choosing preview. It is annoying to have to use two windows and you cannot on the fly match up armor and weapons. I have to pick either weapons or armor and then match everything else to the look I want from that.

    I would rather have all of the passes and portal scrolls in one book or another hero tab. I would also love to see something that would allow for stacking of the two week limited passes.

    I had that happen for a few days but it seemed to have stopped when I bound the mount action for warclaw like the other mounts. I really doubt that was what fixed it, but it might be worth a try.

    It would be awesome if with the build templates we could have some kind of armor swap storage that allows for two or three sets that you can switch between with a command option. Kind of like the GW1 weapon storage bags.

  • Some people who have top stats on things like Achievements are trolled for it, have to run constant offline status... I know one of them..
    It would be nice to have an OFFLINE status to all but those on the friends list. There are so many gawd awful mean people who just troll people cause they have a sad, angry way of life and psycho sickness.. Lets make the offline status easier for those who are friends and want to avoid these trollers.

  • I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but I think a good suggestion is to implement a way to change the color of the in game mouse cursor. It's easy to lose track of during big fights with lots of flash going on, but sometimes I do simply because it's a brown cursor against a brown/yellow background, like SW. I know there are mods to do this with, but an in game option would be preferable I think.Thanks!

    When I get a new skin, let me add it to my inventory and then make it disappear. I have over 1000 transmutation charges. I can wait for using a skin for quite some time after I acquire it.

    Elegy mosaics into material storage, along with sigils, runes, insignias etc.

    Add an option that will allow us to overwrite Outfit's helm skin with one that Currently equipped in standart gear slot.
    And don't even dare to say that this is impossible, since uncheking helm skin removes all visibility of outfit's helm.
    4 out of 7 characters on my account have Outfits, but i rather prefer to choose helm skins myself, not the ugly ones that Outfits offer and enforce on you.

    Can we please let item skins be converted into transmutation charges? Throwing them away is only made worse by having to type out the skin name.

    Or add it to the wardrobe and give a transmutation charge. That will work for those of us with a ton of skins and charges that don't want to waste bank space on a skin and those who don't have charges and would want to apply it immediately.

    I was wondering if maybe we could have an option to choose what form we are in when creating a norn; For example you could choose to have the human like appearance we have now and simply go about your business. Or you could choose to be in your Werebeast form indefinitely and simply wear armor (They could use the charr rig, like they have with tengu for example.) And just give us two distinct models for our norn. I know it sounds like alot but when people ask why you choose norn and you give them the why, which is entirely based on guild wars 1 and their lore they kind of... just... yea.

    Granted this means the elite skills might need to be changed to something else, maybe a blessing like a call back to the old ursan skill in guild wars 1? Where you embody the spirit of bear but don't take on the form? I don't know it just feels kinda crappy that everyone else has super cool stuff; Humans got a whole lot of customization this expansion, sylvari glow in the dark and have an expansion themed around them. Charr are cool because they just are; I mean they are basically orcs but with a unique spin on their culture and views along with their aptitude toward battle. And Asuran are definable and noticeable in a crowd; But norn kind of are stuck in this weird funky place between charr and humans and Id like to see it expanded upon as an option for more character customization.

    I feel it's kinda lame that it's only tattoos and height (And a kitten'n voice actor for our male VA) that sets us apart; I don't want to have to change but sometimes I Get bored because its like "Oh boy everyone in my party is a human, and Im just slightly taller... whooohooo". Im probably gonna get shut down by people who think this is dumb; But let me explain that in guild wars 1 when I saw the norn and we learned that they are more beast than man? That they are vikings, native american and Lycanthropes wrapped up in one package I was so hyped and set I wanted to play as one. Now I can, and they feel like they got neutered compared to what they were and all Im asking is for the OPTION for those like me to be able to play the character we wanted to be; Id be full Werebear all the time ere'day all day. That and I honestly know im gonna get flamed~ So the amount of care I have about it is minimal, I just want constructive criticism and a healthy chat about it.
    Would sell you alot of character makeover kits; And might breathe fresh life into the norn. Please consider it? <3

    Some things I'd love to see that I've seen requested in years past, but are long overdue:

    • Duel-Wield Previews.
    • Previews of Outfits that let you turn off the hat.

    • Legendary weapons should be able to provide aura/footsteps/effects based on the equipped weapon, not based on the skin.

    • Seriously, let us transmute the weapon but keep the effects if we choose to.

    • Please allow us to toggle off, or change functionality of the auto-send item-link ctrl-click feature.

    • Please allow us to toggle off the call-target ctrl-click feature.

    • Please rotate the Black Lion Statuette 'Special' tab more often. This should rotate every week in my opinion.

    • Seriously, there are so many items that could be rotated into the Gem Store, and having the statuette vendor rotate more often offset that pressure.

    I'm sure I'll think of more.

    Yes, I've thought of more.
    I know it somewhat defeats the purpose of armor skins vs outfits, but:

    • I really wish we could mix and match certain elements of outfits.
      For instance, I love my Jungle Explorer outfit, but I really wish I could equip my new Glowing Purple Mask without losing the entire look.

    • Also, we need more reliable ways to get rid of ascended materials, like Ley Line Sparks and Auric Dust.
      This includes ones we already have converters for. Simply put, we need more ways to craft and effectively "sell off" our ascended stockpiles.

    • Reset every map per 3 hours (for meta maps or worlbosses - 30 min after finished meta or boss) - This is key to prevent and keep map with bugs.
    • Add reward from achievement -> General -> Bosses Rewards(0 achievement point, one reward) for boss kill. For example if Lyssa is killed 50 times (Malchor leap map) then player will get "All Seing". From 50x tequatl: chest with sunles skin, from 50x tri head wurm chest with armor skin. For every rare item, skin, tonics etc.
      it's frustrating when every time u kill and there is no piece of final reward from the boss)

    • For not used mater points if there is no idea for new core tyria masteries or HoT materies then let use master point to boost account. For example: 1 MP per 1 Magic Find or Gold find , karma gain, XP gain etc.

    • In the fractals, raids and for Super adventure box is very good system for rewards ( we can drop skin, we can buy skin, we can exchange skin and other stuff too) It will be good this system in the dungeon and for future content.
    • Thief with daredevil elite specialization should have skill ( in the steal) to ignore every immortality ( endure pain, eliksir s and other stuff with immune to damage) and make damage for few second.
    • Add black lion key in PoF story reward somewhere ( HoT story is with one)
    • This is unfinished idea for Raid but i will share it. Well we have support, healer , damage and condi damage classes. My idea is about boost boon with two or more specific class composition based on diffrent classes with same stats(support - hight boon duration, for healer - healing power, for condi damage - expertise and for Damage - critical chance. If someone will get same numbers of stats then can choose bonus class composition.
      For example:
    1. Support:
      bonus from Mesmer every gained boon is one sec longer in the group. (if someone use skill with boon, then every boon from this skill is one second longer.
      bonus from Guadian boon protection protect 50% damage from enemy.
      bonus from Revenant: Alacrity recharge skills faster by 50%.
      bonus from Ranger: Aegis can now stack
      bonus from Thief: Evade every attack for 1 second after "steal"

      bonus from Engineer: increases attack and action speeds by 75% (Quickness).
      bonus from Necromancer: Regeneration can now stack.
      bonus from Elementalist: Endurance regeneration increased by 75%
    2. Healer:
      bonus from Ranger: Regeneration gain health every 0,5 second
      bonus from Revenant: barrier is 2x longer
      bonus from Necromancer: after 5x healing pulse gain 2,5k barrier for everyone
      bonus from Mesmer: reflect for 3s after using healing skill
      bonus from Guardian: for 3s gain heal when enemy attack you after using healing skill
      bonus from Warrior: for 3s gain heal when you attack enemy after using healing skill
      bonus from Thief: steal 3% life from enemy after 5th attack.
      bonus from Engineer: superspeed for 5s after using healing skill
      bonus from Elementalist: 3x blast finisher after using healing skil

    1)
    Problem: Maps are filled with commander tags but most people dont know what the purpose of that specific commander tag is.
    Sollution: Wouldn't it be nice that when a player hovers his/her cursor over the commander tag on the normal/mini map that they could read a custom written text explaining the goal of the player with the commander tag?
    examples:

    • Pug Commander
    • In need of a few players to escort dolyaks
    • Gathering Players to do ...
    • Scouting
    • Opening enemy wall at this location
    • Please Bring 20 supplies to this location
    • ....

    2)
    problem: Often times People want to organize the players on a map but nobody want to tag up (be the commander) because they dont want to take the responsibility or just dont have enough time. So people create a squad after that the commander tags down and then the squad starts slowly dying because nobody else knows there is a squad on the map. (people assume the map is dead)
    Sollution: Add some sort of tab list near the minimap that shows all the existing squads on the map whereon people can click to join the squads.

    problem: players can't tag down without leaving the squad
    Sollution: you figure it out

    For Black statuettes merchant, add tomes of knowledges, I have bl statuettes and find nothing to spend them in. (No I don't need skins....)
